Well, c'mon! Got one all ready. Well, not ALL ready - not for a couple of weeks, yet.
OKAY!!

Now you know you're not supposed to talk about karma. And to laugh about it is even worse. HEATHEN!!

NAOW ~
Re the Rug Doctor - change the water frequently! And if there was really a lot of dirt, go over it a second time, this time with plain water (no cleaning solution).
If I could, I'd rip what is left of the carpet we have out. I'd rather have concrete floors.

That's us about us. 3 bedrooms and the living room.
I hate vacuuming it. And it never feels clean to me.

No duck today. It had a problem yesterday with the pontoons that keep it afloat so they are working on repairs before it goes on public display. I don't want to deal with weekend crowds, especially since it's a very popular area.
Got a lot accomplished today, 3 loads of laundry, floors swept and mopped, bed stripped and changed, piles of paperwork cleaned up, lots of little things like folding up the pile of throw blankets and shredding.
Then I decided I needed to go and get a mani-pedi before I leave for Florida on Monday.
Weekend weather is supposed to be miserable so hoping to just spend it cuddling with DH.

Thanks! It only held about a gallon, so I had to empty and refill about every 5-10 minutes. I am letting it dry right now, but I might do it a second time later today. It seemed to work pretty well.
Two years ago today, I arrived in Ohio for what I thought would be a 10 day visit. 2 years later I'm still here. It is crazy to see how different my life is now. In just two short years. And that that one day. That one moment of strength I found, set it all in motion. Then, I honestly didn't know how unhappy I was, until I compare. I am truly happy. Is life perfect? No. But it's mine and I'm happy with it.
When I moved desks this last time I found a note I wrote myself "everyday is a success because I survived". I survived. He didn't win.
I owe all my geeks a big thank you for supporting me through all this crap. You guys are awesome.

I am so happy for you. Its hard to make such a big change and you were so brave to even try. What a success story! Kudos!

Today was poo-mageddon. DS had a blowout so bad that it not only got all over his car seat but was so much that his car seat leaked all over the back seat when we removed it for cleaning. Not diarrhea. Just a buttload (pun intended) of poo. DS was thoroughly pissed that he had to deal with being hosed off in the shower but that was the most efficient way of de-poo'ifying him. I have a new appreciation for the jet stream setting on our shower nozzle - washed the car seat like a charm. Tub/shower, truck, DS, and car seat have all been cleaned. I took a nap to escape the horror of the experience. Am now here to share the horror with fellow parents who been there, done that :P

LOL chef, yep I've experienced the blow out too. Kids have blowouts and us parents (mostly moms) have been given the strength and bravery to deal with it.

Makes ya wonder how that much poo can be inside such a little person!
DG I missed your transition but I am happy you were able to change your life!
Thanks to everyone. Yes, the saga happened on the old board. I'm not shy about sharing my story - if it hits hime with just one girl.... - anyone is free to PM and ask for the story

You know, that is EXACTLY what I was thinking. You could have impacted a lurker's life & not even known it.
