Eyewitnesses have described the 'hellish' scene at a Taiwan water park after a ball of fire ripped through the crowd during a 'colour party', injuring at least 500 people.
Coloured powder suddenly ignited as it was sprayed into the crowd during the dance and music event at the Formosa Fun Coast water park, just outside the capital of Taipei.
Shocking footage of the accident shows flames engulfing hundreds of people as they desperately tried to flee the amusement park yesterday evening.
Eyewitnesses have now described the 'bloody' scene as revellers dressed only in swimwear caught alight as clouds of green and yellow powder covered them at the 'colour party'.

One male student, who sustained minor injuries, described the scene as 'hell'.
'There was blood everywhere, including in the pool where lots of the injured were soaking themselves for relief from the pain,' he said.
His visibly shaken girlfriend added: 'I saw lots of people whose skin was gone.'
Another male witness told local news channel CTI: 'It started on the left side of the stage. At the beginning I thought it was part of the special effects of the party but then I realised there was something wrong and people started screaming and running.'
Authorities are now trying to determine the cause of the incident as it was confirmed 519 people were injured, with 200 seriously hurt.
Thanks, Chili. They have some different festivals in Asia. I remember going to a Festival in Nara. Basically they ran up to the balcony of a wooden shrine with huge torches and held them over the crowds, with red burning embers falling down onto the crowds and dry grass. It was crazy. The bigger the falling embers, the more the crowd cheered. My friend and I were busy planning our escape route. As we toured Nara, Kyoto, etc., we would read about these shrines, and when they were re-built after having been burned to the ground. It just left me scratching my head, "why?"
