But not for the ones that have the very core of our freedom compromised...

How is the very core of our freedom compromised? Can you no longer believe in what you want to believe in? I don't know about you, but my faith is not shaken one bit by gay people being allowed to legally marry. My faith would possibly be compromised if a church was ever forced to perform a ceremony, but that's not what's happening.

You...YES, YOU...with your logic! Stop that now!

Freedom compromised? The only freedom compromised is all the gay folks who couldn't get married for way too many years. Their freedom to marry has been compromised until now, not yours.

I'm a wedding coordinator on the side (long termers know this, I actually planned a Geek wedding). Do I now have to plan gay weddings? Should I lose my house if I refuse?

So should I be forced to plan a gay wedding? If you agree that the baker and the florists should have to cater, I assume you would expect me to also. And my company even has a Biblical name....

I keep seeing the words freedom and right thrown around.
Marriage is not a right. And as for freedom, well it isn't promised either.
For anyone.
People need to get the wording correct.
Privilege and ability are the proper words.

If you plan weddings that are not Christian, or for people that you know are having a marriage rooted in sin (divorced people, people that have had sex before marriage, things like that- if you know it for a fact), you should plan weddings for any who pay you your fee.
If you only plan Christian weddings of only your specific denomination, that are as far as you know sin-free, you might be able to sneak by. That's just my opinion though.
I still think ANYONE should be able to refuse to do ANYTHING against their beliefs. Period.
And no. I don't care what that may be.
