If it were one or two lawsuits, maybe--but it's been way more than that. Plus, there are judges putting gag orders on people for speaking their beliefs. Churches are getting sued for not performing gay marriages.

It's also not just the lawsuits. There has not been ONE organization, such as GLAAD, who purports to speak for the movement that has spoken out against any of these lawsuits and bureaucratic actions. At best, they are silent, but mostly, they support them.

Their true intentions become more clear by the day.

What proof do you have that this is done by some lunatic fringe of the movement? Where are the organizations, such as GLAAD, but I'd take any--speaking out against this crap? Where are the prominent gays in Hollywood or politics speaking out against this?

There ARE NONE.

Heck, where are the prominent non-gay supporters of the movement going "hey, wait a minute, this is not what we intended to happen"? They are SILENT. (Sorry, but you on a message board doesn't count as prominent)

I think she, and a lot of others, may have genuinely thought this was actually about "rights". She isn't the only one who was duped--but what I can't figure out is why so many still cling to that myth when it is so abundantly clear that is no longer the agenda--if it ever was.

Love you, but you have to admit that the extremists of your party are taking over. They don't care about anyone's beliefs but theirs. And they are taking everyone's freedoms away. You may think they are "fringe", but they are taking control, suit by suit. And even though moderates say they don't agree, they are doing nothing to curb the agenda...they placidly go along and agree. And that's a shame. I've never known a Conservative to do that. I agree with this. That's the problem with lawsuits. Anyone can start them for any reason. I could even start one for where Lady Gaga Snerd used the wrong pronoun for me on the "Not meant to devolve into a religious argument--just curious" thread. I'm not going to. But I could. ;)

I seem to remember calling you BOTH out not too long ago. So don't lump everyone together and play the victim card. I called you both out before when you were acting like idiots on every single thread. You two calmed down for awhile. Now it's at least relegated to a few threads and not all of them.

Yes, I do enjoy giving it back to her because she seems to just do it so much (and not just with me I might add). I'm actually quite a happy person and have never had the need for a therapist. I'm sure this is what you'd like to believe about me but you'd be wrong. I guess flan's bile doesn't make you sick but I've had to deal with it since the day I joined so I don't really care what you think of me. Obviously you (general you) can say whatever you want around here as long as you've been around forever. If you're new, just take the abuse and be glad for it I guess.

Where are you getting this fan club idea? I'm not part of anyone's fan club. In fact I can recall a number of incidences where flan and I have disagreed. Hell I could say you are part of Lily's fan club because you seem to follow her around and have your nose pretty far up her butt.

Well we have ALL had to deal with it since the day you joined not just you. Did it ever occur to you that it would stop if you were the bigger person and didn't respond? It takes two. I haven't had a problem with any one but flan but it sure seems like some of you want to take it personally. You don't know a thing about me yet you're ready to diagnose me with some deep psychological problem. I'm not miserable or unhappy no matter how much you'd like to believe it.
