Chicken or pork. Sometimes a piece of hard=boiled egg is included. It's eaten with a tamarind dipping sauce.

Well then it sounds like you've got it all covered.  Have a great weekend & I hope you get beautiful weather & you DD finds the perfect dress.

thanks, our weather has been perfect here lately. warm in the upper 80's lower 90's during the days, and cooling off at night.   Perfect for a campfire and s'mores

Gotta brag on my DH! !

Been having problems with my artificial knee for a couple of days - back to using the cane, even in the house.

This morning, he got us bacon/egg/cheese tacos.
For lunch, he served Bagel Bites (my fave) and a salad
For dinner, he made the most delicious chicken & dumplings - from scratch!

sounds awesome!  enjoy and hope your knee is feeling better soon

they are yummy.....but one is generally more than enough sometimes my kids use the marshmallows and a reeses peanut butter cup instead of a chocolate bar and those are delicious

We have a fire pit in our back yard and so sometimes make them at home. I remember back when my kids were younger and I was at work, and they made s'mores on my gas stove!

Oh that would make a sticky mess. Where I live that would attract so many ants.

Smores are amazing. Love the melty, gooey, chocolaty mess.

You can make them in the microwave too. Not as good but still really good.

IKWTDS and I made them in a skillet! They were supposed to be for the girls, but they weren't interested at the time, so we ate them...

I don't like marshmallows OR plain chocolate.

I'll pass.

they are not something I would eat a lot of or all the time, but it does bring back fun memories of my kids when they were little and it is a treat when camping

Sadly, you have been deprived of a wonderful childhood memory if you have never made a s'more over an open camp fire.

When Jesse was in third grade, he wanted them for his class for his birthday.

So I made 32 smores in the microwave, in the teachers lounge, 3 at a time.

I had chocolate and marshmallows all over my hands.

But he and his class loved it. So it was worth it.

I'm SOOOOOOO glad we have a happy thread!

I drove my 81 year-old friend to her favorite bingo hall. Paid $24 for cards for all three sessions - and won

$750!

I can hardly wait for DH to wake up, so I can tell him! I'm almost giddy with excitement!

My wonderful childhood memories are eating roasted sunflower seeds over an open campfire, while the men played balalaikas and the women sang in four-part harmony.

S'mores don't really appeal to me.
