Morning everyone. I just got word that DD's team won in overtime! I think this means they are in the finals now. It's hard to be here and not know what's going on. I get word every so often when she remembers. Teenagers! Lol

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

It's "Crazy Days" downtown here today. That means all the shops have sidewalk sales and giveaways and it's like a carnival atmosphere. I am going to hit up the olive oil store and a few others.

Bunny apparently fell out of bed last night and injured his mouth. He wasn't able to tell us what happened at the time and I thought he just bit his lip.
This morning he has a huge fat lip and says his teeth hurt. We're going to see the dentist.
Poor kid is already covered in bruises from where he fell off the drum set and has been coughing like crazy since Friday, which I think is just allergies. cry

Personally, if he is not improving, I would take him in. Colds usually improve within a week, and this has been hanging on. If it's allergies, I would see an asthma/allergist and get him tested.

I like the throat punch theme. Especially after I kept getting woken up.

Another beautiful summer day. Mid 80s with lower humidity.

Work day is in full force. Bossman is out until late this afternoon. May dip my feet in the pool for lunch. Just need the lawn guy to go away first.

Appointment with dermatologist went so-so. Change of meds and here is a cream. More ruling out what it is not than what it actually is. Blood work shows no allergy or virus other than immunoglobulin E which is an allergic reaction. They are not bug bites of any kind. Not poison. Need to track a diary of everything eaten and what I do, when. Fun, Fun - not.

Since Bossman is out, I'm going to try to get some schoolwork done.

He's been tested. He has allergies and takes shots. He has asthma and takes Flovent when he's having trouble. He's also taking Zyrtec since he's having trouble right now.

So, bad news at the dentist. Bunny may lose his incisor, it's not broken but it is loose and badly bruised. It's wait and see at this point. Good news, the root is already resorbed and his adult tooth should be coming in within a year.

It's been raining off and on since 7 this morning. A hard rain.

Hope everyone feels better.

My son is on qvar daily and weekly shots.  He's close to maintenance, so hopefully I can try to reduce and even eliminate the daily qvar.    I stopped zyrtec because he kept getting croup from being dried out too much.   I suspect the antihistamines caused him to lose balance and fall on the driveway last year wen he got a concussion.

Geez. I'm sorry about your son.

I only give Bunny the antihistamine when he has these attacks or whatever it is, which fortunately only happens a couple times a year.

Do you think that's why he fell out of bed last night?! Omg. I feel terrible.

Don't go there Tang!  You did what you thought best to treat his allergy symptoms.

Some plants, mold, dust. Horses, for some reason.

Probably not.  Kids fall out of bed all the time.

One son is allergic to dust mites, mold, pollen.  The other is allergic to cats, dogs, dust mites, mold, & pollen.  They each get two shots every week, one in each arm.  #1 has been drug/medication free and episode free for a year.  #2 is still on qvar but I'm hoping to pull back on that soon.  When he has episodes, he runs the gambit on meds.  Fortunately his episodes are getting few and far between.

I know the feeling.

After Jesse's sinus surgery, I was on high alert for a long time. It just had to have worked.

My stir fry was fab! Now we're getting ready to make refrigerator oatmeal. And then air popped popcorn.

I totally postponed packing today. I went to "Crazy Days" downtown, watched a few episodes of Lost, took the dog on a long walk, cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen, and packed up my out of season clothes. I made a list of things to pack for vacation, but didn't actually pack. I also picked out the colors to paint the new place. I got a lot done, just not the thing I actually should have !

Come over, I have lots of stuff that needs to get done.

Of course if you really did come over, we would go out and have a good time, not do house stuff! biggrin
