It's after 8 and no Sunday thread, yet?

Still tons of packing, moving and unpacking to do today after church.

I've been busy cooking bacon

It is absolutely beautiful out. I have a bit of yard work to do and regular work, plus I have a telecon later because I am mentoring a new regional Director for the Professional Society I am involved with. This evening I am interviewing a baby sitter for DD for when school starts. I want someone to come in the morning and get DD ready for school and put her on the bus. It will allow me to continue starting my commute early to beat traffic.

Landscapers come tomorrow and I cannot wait. Today will be a lazy day, then church later. DH is cleaning the pool pump. I'm on-line shopping for outdoor storage ideas.

Lazy morning. Well, late one anyways. We were up until about 4 and work up around 10 when my mom called from her vacation in Montana.

DH is currently making brunch - bacon, potatoes and who knows what else.

Once that is done, I will get close to finishing up the final project for Class #3. I will also take the quiz for Class #1 that has essay style answers.

Hoping to be done it all so we can head to next town over for the music at Sunday in the Park/on the water.

Dinner is pork chops, fresh jersey corn on the cob, and ???

Got up to start the pork (making bbq pulled pork) cooking for my uncle's birthday dinner because I cook it low and slow. Was intending on going back to bed. Alas, DS woke up. Blah.

Oh well. I shall nap later.

DS received a pre approval letter for a town house. I've already listed his other one here for rent. It will hit the real estate sites and craigs list tomorrow.

We saw a town home on line before he moved there so he looked at it yesterday. He loves it and is calling the agent tonight to tell her he will be putting an offer in. He is renting a room in someone else's apartment right now. I don't feel great about it, but he needed a place to stay.

I was up. And then I went to sleep.

Woke up again. And then went back to sleep.

Did that about 3 more times.

No. It wasnt that restful.

Bacon...... I would gladly munch on some bacon if I had some.

Good luck to all the packers, moving, traveling, cleaning and whatever elsers.

That's great IKWTDS! I hope his offer is accepted and he can move in soon.

We are having a low key day. I changed the sheets. Doing laundry now. Need to fold clothes. I have a few more little crafts to finish for my sister's baby shower. I also need to go through and sort all of Baby A's clothes to give to her.

I need to have DD clean and organize a few of her things, but she is preoccupied playing with the baby I don't want to disrupt the calm. So I'll wait until she tells me she's bored :)

DD has been asking for meatloaf- don't know why, I didn't realize she liked it- so I will make that for dinner tonight.

Meatloaf awesome and easy. Is this the sister that lived with you? Or do I have the wrong geek?

I would laugh at that, but there are good meatloafs.  They are awesome in the dead on winter as comfort food with a side of mashed potatoes

The steakhouse we go to has a fried meatloaf. They top it with sauteed mushrooms and onions. It's heavenly.

Fried?  Anything will taste good fried - it's the best way to hide bad food.

Meatloaf is so easy and easily flavored. The possibilities are endless.

We fry the left overs some times.

Sometimes I just go with patties to begin with.

It's crazy right? No it wasn't a good reading. I immediately took it again and it was 53bpm. I don't know what happened.

I know when my heart rate was at 119, and got up to 126, I passed out.

But that was due to a medication and illness at the time.

At 239 bpm there is no blood pumping. I'd be unconscious.

Went to church , had a quick lunch, the DD and I went to see Gone With the Wind at a historic theater. Whew, I had forgotten how long that movie last.

Read the book then watch the movie.

I have the movie some where. On VHS. It was a Christmas gift from my uncle. I was 16 I think. It has the prelude, intermission and exit music too.

I love it.

But I wonder how long until it's sanitized too.

Do you know how to feel your pulse in your arm or your neck (one side only, please)?

It wasn't 239 beats per minute.

If you check it and you're feeling more than 3 beats per SECOND, call an ambulance. (45 beats in 15 seconds is 180 bpm, and you're in trouble.)

What is it NOW?

My mom and I watched it so many times, we wore out the VHS.  I watched it a lot as background when I was studying in high school because I needed noise.  Since I watched it so many times, I did not have to pay attention to it.

Yes. I do. I also know how to check my BP with an old fashion pump cuff.

It was a fluke foul up with my sensor on my phone.

Especially when you have a grabby hands toddler thinking that stealing measuring cups/spoons, bowls, ingredients, etc. is helpful.
