It has been in the 90's for two weeks. The ac did get a bit too cold last night so I turned off the big one and left the smaller one all day and it is perfect in here.

That is what the normal temp for August is for us, but not this year. Brrr

 yep, Dad called,  117 in Phoenix the other day, broke a record.  They have spent the past 3 months in doors.  I couldn't live like that.

rain and 50 degrees...burrrr lots of rain like 1.5 inches in a few hours kind of rain the last few afternoons. but in the upper 90's during the day and yet today I am in a hoodie and chilly!

next week we are back to the HIGH 90's low 100's just plain crazy I tell ya~

Our house was 62 degrees this morning. It was 47 degrees outside. DH turned the on heat pump.

Jeans and sweater weather, IMHO.

Riding, we had and inch and a half of rain yesterday morning as well. My word, was the wind strong! Wow!

I need to pull onions and dig up potatoes..

About 45 minutes ago it was raining cats and dogs and was 70.

Now the sun is shining and it's 90.

At least y'all might actually get some rain. We're in monsoon and the sky can be overcast for days with not a drop falling. We just unrelenting humidity to accompany the gray sky. When it does rain, it's like standing in a warm shower if you go out.

Now, winter is a different story. We actually get rain when the clouds come in. Frigid rain too. I'm hoping it'll graupel again at some point. That was fun!

It's snowed once since I've lived here. Nothing stuck but snowflakes did fall.

Yay! We got the cold front!

It was only 64 when I got up this morning. Heading for a high of 84.

We didn't get much rain, just some sprinkles.

I better try to enjoy it. Back to the mid-90's tomorrow!

A beautiful cool morning here. Temp was 50 degrees and we are heading for a high in the mid-70's today.

My cousin said the Rocky Mountains are snow capped again. They got 2 inches of fresh snow yesterday morning. She loves to rub that in because she knows the snow will be coming my way within about six to eight weeks. Darn it!

We finally got some rain. However, the interstates are filled with car wrecks. One of them has an overturned 18 wheeler that took out a guard rail.

Had a round of thundershowers in the late afternoon yesterday.  The thunder was extremely loud and sounded like it was right above my building.  A few days ago, it poured like crazy for several hours in the early morning, which woke me up, and there was so much flooding, ponding, and a lot of other damage as storms continue to make their way over the state.  Some schools had to close for a day.  I am hoping for relief soon, but that probably will not come until the end of the year.  My bedroom temp is usually in the mid to upper 80s, with humidity in the 70s, every day.  How I wish I could install an A/C so I can get some decent sleep instead of sweating, tossing and turning all night.  Days are in the low 90s, but thankfully I am indoors working in a nice cool building Monday through Friday.  smile

Looks like everyone wants to forget about the weather!

Today is the first full day of fall. I love the season, hate the cold.

It has been raining here since last evening. We had the "alerts" on my cell about 10:30 last night for flash flooding in our county. The northern half got dumped on last night.

The leaves are turning colors, it's damp and cool. Yup, it's fall.

I am busy digging out warmer clothes..

We are having typical weather patterns.

Upper 50s to low 80s. Lots of humidity to make everything steamy and/or damp.

It has tried to rain a couple times.

Not even enough to scatter the dust.

It's raining!smile

That's the good news.

The bad news. We're under a flash flood warning until Saturday night.

They are calling for 4 to 8 inches of rain, with some areas getting 8 to 10.

(I'm not worried about our house flooding. I will be interested to see how my backyard holds up, after all the work I did on it in June.)

I'm hoping all the dirt and rubber mulch I put in, did the trick!
