With its googly black eyes and surprised expression, it could be mistaken for a fictional character on a children's television show.
But this unique sea creature is very much alive, and living quietly in the shore of Bali.
Bright green with pink tips, the unusual critter was captured among other rare species in a stunning collection of underwater photographs by an amateur photographer.
Lynn Wu from Taiwan works as a bank worker but spends free time scuba diving to photograph life under water.
During a recent trip to Bali, they discovered the colourful creature and a variety of others dubbed ìCostasiellaî by marine scientists.

Others discovered during the bank worker's trip were not quite as colourful but showed off the same googly black eyes and antennae

Another adopted a rounder shape, taking on a porcupine-like shape in a presumed bid to ward off predators on the seabed

A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
OMG how cute and interesting is that? I really need to get my degree in marine biology, sell my house and buy a shack near the ocean and be a diver as a career.
