Slept in until 9:15. I am hiding out in the bedroom still. Not ready to deal with MIL yet. She is a morning person. I feel like a truck ran me over. I only had half a drink before I fell asleep.

Weather is going up to 81, mostly sunny. Cloudy late in the day.

Hope everyone has a good Tuesday. Not sure what today will bring.

I'm watching Baby Looney Tunes with DS. Cloudy/Meatballs 1 is coming on after.

DS likes playing with the giant fly swatter DH bought awhile back because he couldn't resist. The fly swatter is currently on time out because DS was using it to turn on lights. There's enough natural light. Not wasting money on electricity.

I think today is going to be a nothing-gets-done day. I'm less than motivated to do anything.

Hope everyone else is having a better day.

Caitlyn is having a work place issue.

She works in a daycare, ages 6wks through preschool and they have a program for older, school age kids. Caitlyn is with the 1 yr olds to 3 yr olds. Which room depends on who else is there and where she is needed. She loves the kids. Loves the job.

But the owner, the one who hired her, is becoming more and more hostile towards her. And this morning, she asked Caitlyn if she was stupid.

A kid bit another kid. They have to report that. Make note of it. So owner asked her why? Caitlyn said she didn't know. The owner asked her why she didn't know what she was doing. That Caitlyn didn't understand cause she doesn't have kids of her own and she asked if Caitlyn was stupid.

Caitlyn has been dealing with this for a while now. She has decided to turn in her 2 week notice.

I don't blame her one bit.

It's too bad really. She loves those kids.

But. On the other hand.....

There is one little boy there, his really cute dad has been asking her out since the first week she worked there.

If she isn't working there, she might say yes.

Of course the dad is single.

The mother abandoned the child. The father didn't even know about the child until he was born. He was called and told he could take him and raise him or put him up for adoption.

He picked him up an hour later. The baby was about 3 hours old.

Yeah. Wow.

It's been almost 2 years. The mom has seen the little one time.

Turns out she was in prison when he was born. And when she was released, about 4 months ago, she saw him for about an hour. She was arrested again and in in jail again.

She signed all her rights over to the dad.

It's cool out today, and rainy. I sent the kids out to play. I need a few minutes with them out of the house and it's been so hot lately they haven't wanted to play outside for more than a few minutes at a time.

I was at Target today and saw they brought back the rainbow chip frosting, normally I don't like store bought frosting, but that brought back memories of middle school birthday parties, so now I am making a cake!

Went to get a giant cookie for Hubman today. He has a unisex name. The lady wrote the message in hot pink without even asking me. Had to pick a new cookie. She laughed and said she'll never make that assumption again!

My dad knows so many people.

Well. I should say so many know my dad. His father was the same and so were his grandfathers.

There are 2 families with my maiden name. Ours is the largest. Everyone knows us.

And yeah. It's real annoying.

I think it's more that Caitlyn doesn't go drinking and partying with her. And she is young, single, pretty and secure in herself. 

 

And she has been told more than once that the owner is a bit on the loony side. So there is that.

Another wonderful day at the shore! We traveled around the surrounding towns today then hit the boardwalk tonight.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a beach day. I need to be careful of sun exposure because of several reasons, meds, fair skin and the hives.

Grades are in. B+, B+ and A.

 Yeah, be very careful!  I am fair and take an antibiotic daily that makes me photosensitive.  The dermatologist always asks about abnormal skin stuff and if my family has had anything.
