A grieving family is seeking closure after someone stole their daughter's body from a Texas funeral home.
Julie Mott died earlier this month following complications from cystic fibrosis, KSAT reported.
Authorities say the 25 year old was stolen sometime after the funeral service last Saturday at the Mission Park North Funeral Chapel in San Antonio.
Staff members at the funeral home discovered that her body was missing the next day.

Tragic: Julie Mott (above) died earlier this month following complications from cystic fibrosis. Her remains were stolen from a funeral home in San Antonio, Texas
'We just want our daughter's remains returned, so we can have some closure to our grief,' Tim Mott, her father, told KSAT on Friday.
The owner of Mission Park North, Dick Tips, suggested the theft might have been carried out by someone who didn't believe in cremation.
'I can't believe this is happening to such dear friends of mine and she's a dear friend of mine,' Tips told KSAT.
'This is a person that I know. This is a person that I know and I want her back.'
Sgt. Javier Salazar of the San Antonio Police Department said there was no forced entry into the funeral home and that police are not ruling anything out.
The site doesn't have surveillance cameras so it is unclear how her remains were taken.
A reward of $20,000 is being offered by the funeral home for information leading to the recovering of Mott's remains.
Anyone with information is asked to call 210-225-8477.

I can't get past the fact that there is a man walking around with the name Dick Tips.
It's Texas. We name our kids fvcked up names. When my kids were smaller we lived across the street from a family who named their girls Stormy and Sunshine and their son Dusty. They are white.

My daughter works in billing at a hospital. She doesn't tell me stuff but sometimes she'll tell me funny first names. They are way out there. I don't think Stormy is a bad name per se. It's cute. It's the whole theme thing I find weird. I know naming kids names that all start with the same first letter is popular. I don't think that's weird. What I find weird is when they are all named themed names. Like after places or cars. Or where they were conceived. But that's JMO. I think it's weird. Others obviously find it perfectly normal.

Had a neighbor who named her daughters Tabitha and Samantha. She liked bewitched.
Another neighbor named his girls Fawn and Bambi. He called them his little deers. They were raging bitches.

:rolf: So funny. Like I said, my daughter will tell me some of the first names she sees. They are funny.

I never would have thought them to be anything but white. Those are yuppie hippy names with a bit of cowboy thrown in.

You pegged that one. And I'm not trying to sound racist but the place I currently live now the white people all have names like (these are the white people I know in my neighborhood) Meghan, Dottie, Teresa, Kate, and Rachel to name a few. Shaniquicka? is a very popular black name around here. So is Unique and Nevah. I could scroll through my FB and come up with some more. There's just a difference.

Well ma'am, my granddaughter is named Stormy. It's beautiful and fits her perfectly. I won't address her ethnicity. That seems unmannerly.
One of Jesse's middle names is Storm.

Why is it "racist" to say that white people more often have names like Meghan and Kate and black people have names like "Shaniquicka?

It isn't racist, it's fact.

I believe there are companies that process and sell certain body parts (bones?) for use in transplants, and medical schools use them for training purposes.
Shouldn't be too difficult to smuggle a body into Mexico, and a cadaver this young, who died from natural causes, could be valuable to a med school.

Yes it is! My name spelling isn't great. We also see LaToya and Natoya a lot.

I'm sorry, but if I met people with a child that name, I could not be their friend - no matter if white, black, or red. Because that's just f'ed up and shows that their desire to be "cool" is stronger than their desire to do what is best for their kid.

It is. It's "Heaven" spelled backwards.
People that name their child Nevah/Neveah probably aren't real bright. Their are some Nevahs out there...

Yes, I did correct my spelling of Neveah. For what it's worth. I like unusual names. I just don't like when they make a mockery of unusual names.

I have a weird name. LL, ohfour, IKWTDS, and NAOW to name a few here can tell you that I have a very unusual name. But it's not bizarre.

I just never understood why someone would want to name their kid backwards heaven. HEAVEN, yes. Backwards? No.

Cultural and historical names are not stupid, even when unusual. But made up names? Just get over yourself and stop saddling your kid with that ridiculousness.

I just never understood why someone would want to name their kid backwards heaven. HEAVEN, yes. Backwards? No.
And I always think that Heaven backwards would be the OPPOSITE of Heaven, right?
I think some rocker started the craze...It needs to die.
Yeah. I get the naming the kids with the same letter. It's kind of cute. Not for the Duggars but normally yeah. Some of this other stuff is off the wall crazy to me.

And it's like I think Stormy is a cute name. But when you start naming all your kids different weather patterns then you start crossing the line.

Now I might be old fashioned but I don't see how it's any my business what someone names their wee one. I've hired quite a number of folks and have never declined to hire due to a name. Hired a good ol boy named Winchester Rifle. That gave me a chuckle. Helluva boy, that one.
