Always. And the amount of emails I go into on Mondays is insane. Everyone emails their lawyer over the weekend.

Morning. My body wakes me up every morning around 6 cause it needs it's medicine. Can't remember a time I wasn't taking medicine. But I guess it could be worse.

I try to do everything on Tuesdays. People seem to be in better moods and more willing to deal on Tuesdays.

The last time I needed a lawyer, besides my estate planner, they had answering machines, not voicemail.

We had a good night last night. We stayed home from church so #2 could rest up and he seemed to be turning a corner (for the better). Enjoyed dinner on the patio after a light swim.

Today, back to the grind. Vacay next week! yay!

I am so pissed off at DH's employer. They are trying to cut costs as much as possible and are now screwing around with the health insurance yet again.

Last year, they got us by saying we did not complete the open enrollment and dumped us into a crappy HDHP plan instead of the PPO that we signed up for. Unfortunately, I did not follow my own cardinal rule by not printing a screen shot for verification. Worse part, I work in an insurnace agency selling this type of insurance so it is what I do for a living.

Now, they are doing dependent verification. I sent in a federal tax return and a joint property tax bill (all pertinent info blanked out). Well, that is not enough. Now I have to try to find my official marriage license. Which is in a box, somewhere, I think, in this house.

A marriage license? Are they kidding? I thought the new proof was living at the same address for more than a year.

First day of second grade for my little. She was really excited to go, but then didn't want me to leave. Poor Baby A is going to be so lonesome without her sister to play with.

today is the first day of school here too and my first year that I have not one child going to any school, all 5 of mine are graduated and on their own, and none even in college, that is all over for those who chose to attend and graduate. sort of a surreal feeling, not bad, just different

Mine don't go back until after Labor Day. The neighborhood usually sets up tables at the bus stop and brings breakfast foods, drinks, etc. It's a nice send-off and take a group photo.

A rainy Monday for me. I was awakened early this morning at around 0200 hours by a torrential downpour and thunderstorms, which continued until my alarm went off at 0400. I was not able to fall back asleep because of the loudness of the rain and thunder, and the temperature in my room being 88F with humidity in the upper 70s. So I tossed and turned until my alarm went off. Had three severe weather alerts on my phone during that time as well.

It has not stopped raining yet and I am at work. There is much ponding and flooding in many areas. It is nice to be basking in the A/C at work with my desk fan cooling me down even further.

I took a picture the first day until they finally just wouldn't go for it anymore.

Our thing is something special on Fridays. Cinnamon rolls or muffins or something like that.

Bunny's first day of school seems to be going well. He marched right in and sat down and started making friends. He wasn't upset at all.
I didn't cry. He was just too sweet and happy.
Husband left work early and watched him get on the bus to daycare. He was really upset last Friday when I came to pick him up, apparently he thought he would not see his friends or teachers there again.
I'm going to let him stay for about an hour and then we are going out for dinner tonight.
I can't wait to hear about his day.

So when I went to the vet to pick up Layla's allergy pills there was an older couple having their dog put down. The guy was quietly crying but the woman was sobbing. It was so sad.

Grrr! The jets are doing carier landing practice. This means they fly in circles and come down long enough to touch the runway and then back up again. They will do this till about 10. I live right under the path when they are shooting back up.
