Thinking about the scene where a line of cars stopped on a two lane road, the road ahead was being pummeled by rocks, and everyone got out of their cars to run back the way they'd come.
I think I would have pulled into the empty oncoming lane, put the car in reverse and backed away.
I watch things like this, at least in part, to think about how best to react if I ever see them live and in person.
