A woman spotted driving erratically at 15 mph on the Northern State Parkway in a car with a flat tire was arrested on charges of driving while ability impaired, State Police said Tuesday.
A trooper from the Lake Success Barracks was dispatched following a report shortly after 11 p.m. Monday about the erratic driver, police said.
"Troopers were easily able to locate the vehicle," a black Volkswagen eastbound on the parkway near Post Avenue in Westbury, police said in a statement.
The driver, Josette Livingston, 25, of Wantagh, "exhibited signs of intoxication, and a strong odor of marijuana was emanating from her vehicle," the statement said.
She failed field sobriety tests and was arrested on charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs and traffic violations, police said.
