But that's a good tired.
Babies are so cute.

A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
O4 - I am doing the same thing tomorrow. Interviewing an internal candidate that I wouldn't hire on a dare. Can't wait. The catch for me - she used to have the job she is interviewing for a few years ago and they had to reassign her because she was screwing it up. She is old enough to retire but enjoys working, which is awesome. But she is a flake.

Having a play date tomorrow with a couple friends and their kids. Play dates mean DS takes a nice loooooong nap after his friends go home. Last time, he zonked out on the couch before everyone left and napped for a good 3 hours.
Got caught in a small dust storm while running errands earlier. The wind felt great. Dust, not so much. Wind is picking back up now.
The speech was awesome! I cried before it even started because the teacher who runs it leaned over and told the speakers "don't worry. Everyone here loves you". It was adorable.
The students choose a faculty member to introduce them. She chose DH, which is the first time anyone can remember a faculty parent introducing a student/child.
She told a cute anecdote from when she was little and tied it into how lucky she is to have a family who supports her, no matter what. She mentioned my parents being her number one fans, her best friend who inspires her to be a better student, her boyfriend who inspires her to be a more positive person, and her dad and I who are supportive of her and of all her friends.
To say I cried would be an understatement. I sobbed. Lol. I sat next to her best friend and right before DD went up, she looked at me and held her hand out for me to hold. I squeezed hard! It was a great morning and she got a lot of compliments from the faculty and kids.

Sometimes you gotta wonder about these interviewees.

I personally think she is trying to drum up an age discrimination case. So I will be sure to ask her about the time she did this job before and what her successes and challenges were. And also about what she thinks about her current job - she is a complainer and I KNOW she will take the bait and use it as a chance to have a b!tchfest. 😉

So he is coming home because of the airlift out of Turkey of American's?
Not sure what point you're trying to make here. I was simply saying ohfour knows what it's like to have her husband gone for periods of time.

I'm very proud of DS. He and I were outside on the playground for an hourish and he saw 4 dogs and didn't run up to any of them. We're teaching him that not all dogs like strangers and that he should never rush up to an animal. Looks like our hard work is paying off!

He will remember that lesson always. Next is to teach him how to approach dogs when a dog owner says it's ok to pet their dog.

You said he was working in Europe sometimes. Right now Americans in Turkey are being air lifted out as a pre cautionary measure due to the huge Isis presence.

He is in Norway and they're done with what they are doing so he's coming home. Doesn't have anything to do with Turkey. Hadn't heard about that. But then I haven't watched much news lately.

Hopefully he'll pick up on that one real easy. He runs everywhere he goes so getting him to walk is quite the task sometimes!
