No. LL is not spot on. And neither are you.

I never said one was more likely. I said I wondered which set of grandparents it was.

You, LL and, well everyone, jumped to the conclusion I was insinuating paternal simply because I made the comment that my ex MIL could do something like that. It doesn't mean all paternal grandparents. It means psychopaths could do it.

If you want to assume my post means anything one way or another, well, that's on you.

I really could give two shakes.

Bull frickin' crap.  You specifically said you wondered if it they were maternal or paternal grandparents and then went on to wonder if it could be intentional if dad is out of the picture or doesn't want to pay child support.  There is no assuming there whatsoever.  YOU wrote it pretty damn clear.

 In this ONE situation .

That DOES NOT equate to all paternal grandparents are monsters.

Geesh. Reasoning skills are seriously lacking for some of you here.

And if any of you can comprehend the entirety of all my posts, I said, multiple times it doesn't matter which, if it was intentional.

MEANING, my wondering about which set of grandparents it was and the back story IS NOT the same as saying paternal grandparents are monsters.

Can't believe how hung up ya'll are over this.

And assuming the paternal grandparents will kill a baby intentionally so their son doesn't have to pay child support is just reaching.

With so many people, so many things happen, and I suspect that this HAS happened, but they didn't get caught or charged and it never made the press.

IMHO it would be foolish to think that this NEVER happens. Sometimes kids just disappear and are never seen again.

Bologna. you are back pedaling faster than pee wee Herman dancing to the tequila song now--but you directly related the two. Maternal grandparents could also be psychopaths.

Well, I could agree with you--but then we'd both be wrong.

Mabye that alone would not have meant that--but then you went on to try to justify exactly that by pointing out that you thought your kids paternal grandparents would be capable of something like that.  You directly related them.
