Being obsessed with technology is nothing new for the millennial generation, but now it seems that many are relying on their gadgets to boost their sex lives as it is revealed that almost half of them have texted naked pictures of themselves.

Skyn Condoms set out to explore the sexual habits, preferences and desires of millennials across the country, and according to the brand's 2015 survey, technology and romance go hand in hand as a quarter of participants said they use dating sites and mobile apps to find potential partners.

More than half of the millennials surveyed admitted to sleeping with someone they met online, and whether they have found love or are still single, it seems they are pretty happy with their bedroom antics.

Baring it all: Almost half of millennials have texted naked pictures of themselves, according to a new survey by Skyn Condoms

Eight out ten of those surveyed said they are satisfied with their sex lives as 97 per cent of men and 89 per cent of women reported that they reach an orgasm at least once during sex.

And their increased pleasure may be the result of their tech-savvy nature as more and more millennials use their cell phones to add some spice to their relationships.

Not only are almost half of millennials comfortable texting nude photos, many are relying on the latest technologies to do it.

A quarter of people said the have used the photo-sharing app SnapChat to send nude images.

Meanwhile, more than 50 per cent of men and women said they 'actively enjoy sexting' - proving that words are a powerful form of foreplay.

However, millennials are so addicted to their digital devices that when it came to making choosing between sex and maintaining online access, one out of three people said the would give up sexual activity for the internet for an entire year.

When they are having sex, millennials revealed that they are happy to experiment in the bedroom - and outside of it.

78 per cent of those surveyed said they have had sex in the living room, while 22 per cent of them said they have done it in public and 23 per cent confessed to doing it on the beach.

Role play is another way that millennials get in the mood, and according to participants, the sexiest scenario is pretending they are with a stranger.

So, it's unsurprising that 61 per cent of millennials said they've had one-night stands

So, can we stop making this a "crime"? It's getting ridiculous. People have been talking dirty to each other since the beginning of time.

I agree.

And taking naked pictures since then too.

If they are over 18, sometimes younger, it's not a crime. My issue is that these dippy flakes think they can live online with no consequences.

They put naked photos out there, and then are surprised when the relationship goes south and all of a sudden all their ex's buddies have copies of them, or a potential employer sees them, or a future potential partner sees them and wonders what kind of person they are. Plus, in 15 years or whatever, their kids might be viewing them.

Well, I could agree with you--but then we'd both be wrong.

I had some boudoir pics taken when I was 29 for my (then) husband. I took them with me when I moved out. They were really good. Most of my friends and family saw them.

My advice is don't take any pics that you wouldn't want the world seeing. Because they might.

The last two comments pretty much sum up my feelings on this particular issue.

If you are above the age of consent and you send the picture willingly to a significant other, or let a significant other take one of you it shouldn't be a crime.

And don't believe that anything on-line is private. If you do so, you prove yourself to be a fool. Don't take or let be taken any picture you wouldn't want to share with the entire world.
