I am wondering if the rain is ever going to stop. Been at it for 4 days now and finally one of the typhoons is passing, leaving only one more out in the Pacific. If we can make it to Friday, we should have some relief. The whole house feels moldy and damp. LOL

Yesterday registered as the hottest Sept 8th in Boston. We are in another heat wave and ragweed is in full bloom. It's days like this I relish having an office to go to.

I had the worst dream. Again. I dreamed that I was in a vehicle, riding with others. My kids and some other people.
I dreamed we were passing a small, back road, country bank and it was surrounded by S.W.A.T.
I dreamed as we passed and I looked backed there was a lot of shooting and people dying and the radio was announcing that other places that this was happening.
I dreamed I started saying "no, not again" over and over and over and crying and I saw the date was 9/11.
That's when I woke up.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
It's hot and humid here as well. A front is supposed to come through tomorrow. My neighbor is getting married. Outside. They are calling for rain. Poor thing.

Am so sick of the AC. Just want to open a window. Not this week!

That's got to be disconcerting. Don't rob any banks today.

Ugh. I got a call from DH with a crying #1 in the background. He ran around the driveway before heading off to the bus stop and fell, scraping up his leg and arm. The cut on his arm was long so DH put two bandaids on it. Really? Couldn't figure out why his arm was still hurting. Maybe the bandaids are stuck to the wound? You think?
Honestly, I don't know how this man ever got this far in his life. And I'm an hour away, feeling helpless. So I had to tell him to get a bigger bandaid, make sure the sticky part wasn't touching the wound, give #1 a popsicle, calm #1 down over the phone, and notify the school he would be late. I need to retire so I can be home.

LOL!!!!
I can just imagine!
Bless your heart.

I guess I'm lucky. My DH can do everything. Well, except figure out the difference between dishwasher soap and dish soap.
Congrats SB. If I were near you I'd come see you get baptized!

Remember the wife of G's friend that came to visit a couple of months ago from Canada, and we were SO worried that we wouldn't like each other? Well, she's coming back for a visit tomorrow!!!!! She's actually going to Grand Canyon but making a detour to hang with me for a couple of days. So in 3 months, we will have seen each other three times (twice here, once when G and I went to Canada). I've seen her more often than my best friend that lives 1 state away.
I'm just glad we hit it off so well since our husbands are such good friends...
