Auto trans fluid is designed to both lubricate (be slippy) and to allow the clutches to grip (be grippy) at the same time. This is much more complicated than JUST to act as hydraulic fluid and a lubricant like tractor oil. If this very simplified argument AND the manufacturers recommendations for your car don't dissuade you from using tractor fluid as ATF, then by ALL means go right ahead and pour that stuff right IN there. Go on DO it!
Be sure you are prepared for a $4000 transmission rebuild bill PLUS a flush of the lines and cooler AND a new torque convertor because you don't want a single trace of that junk oil left anywhere inside to destroy that fresh rebuild.
Some people listen and learn from those than know better (the manufacturer's recommendations, not ME), some people have to learn the hard way!
