As I have patiently explained, and you fail to understand, though I don't know why since you are supposedly so bright about all things cops, this woman was not in COUNTY lock up. I live in a fairly good sized suburb but if you get arrested on a Friday night for something they will take you to the little lock up at the police station, MANNED BY THEIR POLICE OFFICERS, NOT JAILERS, until the judge decides where you should go.

For someone supposedly so knowledgeable of the police you have very little actual knowledge.

So I read this whole article over last night and I noticed a couple things. There WAS a nurse present. So there was no reason why this woman couldn't be medicated. Also, the police assessed her mental illness and found she didn't fit the criteria. So that would be a total fail on their part. AND, if a nurse was there it's even more of a fail because she should have figured that out. But they said because she didn't fit the criteria for mental illness she was left in jail and not transported to a mental facility. I think it was the cops fault. They need to be trained to handle this. This woman had all the classic signs of schizophrenia. Everything she said and did was a perfect sign that she was mentally ill. This police department needs a major overhaul.

And quite frankly, it is not the job of the police to randomly kill anyone they don't deem worthy to live. That is why we have a judicial system. You know, that thing that involves lawyers and court. Even convicted murderers get their day in court. This woman never got that.

Accordingo to KOIN 6, Jeff D. Rubin was arrested on charges of  second-degree criminal mischief and offensive littering after he woke up shortly before landing, "stood up and began urinating through the crack of the seat onto the passengers seated in front of him,” a police report said.

Then he fell backwards and “urinate(d) upwards which got the passengers and seats next to him as well as some other passengers’ personal belongings,” the report says.

Cops boarded the plane and found Rubin slumped over sleeping in his seat. He was released from jail after about five hours.
