This is unbelievable, ridiculous, and horrifying all at the same time.

Anti-abortion extremists put together a bogus video and now everyone from Republican presidential candidates to members of Congress are using it as an excuse to attack Planned Parenthood.

And these aren't just empty threats anymore.

If abortion on demand is stopped then that's a win for everyone.

Planned Parenthood should be privately funded.

And perhaps it will force women to take control of their reproductive health. Become proactive instead of reactive.

 Dream on. The girls and women I've come across waiting for (or just after) their abortions, were not old enough, mature enough, smart enough, and/or educated enough, to take care of anything as complex as birth control.

I suspect that some of them believed in magic, wishful thinking, and "it won't happen to ME."

What bogus videos? They are real videos of people in PPH talking about everyday issues, they just were exposed. If what they were talking about have a greater good, why are they not talking about that? explaining that?

Oh, sure. In the Welfare neighborhoods in New York City, 20% of the black males are murdered before they reach age 25. That's a win ... right? 

 

The girls too grow up surrounded by and victimized by violence.

Then they too can become single, drop-out Welfare mothers before they are old enough to finish high school ... or even middle school.

As for the tape. It appears to me, several sources claim there was liberal editing, that it was altered. Needlessly altered. The unaltered tape was somewhat damning in and of itself. To alter it, it made me question the credibility of the group who chose this method of furthering their agenda.

Planned Parenthood should never have been funded by the government in the first place. My tax dollars should not pay for abortions. Period.


And I find it really warped that ed's reason for supporting Planned Parenthood were the same as Margaret Sanger's - eugenics. They need to be killed before they are born so they don't harm society. Coming from a Jew, that's just doubly horrifying.

 There are other resources available for that.  And altered?  Most film makers edit for length - are you saying that they altered what was said?  No, they didn't.

Stepson using PP for birth control and meds for an STD.

Condoms are found at just about every store, everywhere.

And if there was an STD, then he wasn't using the condoms properly.

So perhaps what he needed was someone to tell him to grow up and be responsible for himself.

PP is nothing more than a baby killing factory. All the other "services" are simply window dressing.

PP should be privately funded. Period.
