Good Morning All! Another lovely day with a chance of showers.

I need to finish homework today. I could not get motivated to do much yesterday. Internship starts tomorrow and they want ideas for he caregiver support group that they want me to run and activities for me to plan and run. Uh, how about I see how things run here first?

Supposed to go to a Peep Meet for another board today for a person who is in from out of town. Depends on where they end up having it at. I met with them Friday night and blew the budget so far out of the water.

I am taking care of my cousin's dogs this weekend. Currently three of the four are staring at the food in their dishes. The fourth is behind a baby gate in breakfast jail pacing like he's been wronged by society - he eats everyone else's food. I wish they would just eat so I can go home.

There is football today! So excited, wish I got to see the colts :(

There was a HUGE paint sale at Lowe's last night! I got Shewin Williams paint for $14 a gallon! I bought 6 gallons! lol DH was like, WTF!

Organizing a bit around the house. It's shaping up some...more work still to be done. But I need to think on what I want to do. I have some ideas, but they are pricey.

I think the dog has the right idea though...it's nap time.

What the.....????? Today we start Awana back. We also start back with choir practice. Choir is at 4 and Awana at 5. I just got a text at 3:00 that Awana workers are to meet at 4 today. Who calls a meeting on one hour notice when it's not during normal hours? I said no - I won't be there, it's too short notice and I'm going to choir. They have known for weeks when Awana was starting and should have called a meeting before now.

I am home from gallivanting around the city. We toured Chinatown and ate there. I don't think I need to eat for three days. We went to a Vietnamese restaurant, a bakery and a bubble tea place. Then we had soft pretzels at the train station. I have a bag of goodies on the table too.

Off to fold the laundry that DH finished for me. He is wonderful. He vacuumed too. But it's my turn to cook dinner and clean up after. It may be a while, being as full as I am.

I use to do all the painting.

I need to find the pictures of Caitlyn's room when she was 3.

She wanted the room Barbie pink.

Well. That's really pink.

But it toned it down by hand stenciling roses on walls.

It took 2 weeks to apply all the levels of color.

It looked amazing.

About a year later, that room became the boys room and I had to cover it all up.

But they have steal blue and denim room. Still looks good. But Jesse wants to paint. So it may happen.

I bounce between wanting a lot of color to wanting calm and blank.

I think my best choice would be neutral walls and then throw pillows I can swith out.

I like Steal Blue. I also like Pilfering Pink, Robbery Red, Marauding Mauve, Pillaging Purple and Embezzling Ecru.

My problem is that if I'm going to do it, I am going to do it right. I wash the wash with TSP, I tape everything off meticulously. I do 2-3 proper coats. It takes frickin' forever. Sometimes I hate my OCD side.

I am not meticulous. But, I do tape everything and cover the floor and always do 2 coats. When I get tired, I do tend to slop a lot more paint around.
