Do the Windows people ever bother to consider that people with eye problems cannot read teeny tiny print? Yes, I can enlarge the print, but there is a lot of that doesn't enlarge. It's annoying! I had my screens the way I like them. Now, they are all F'ed up again. Grr.

I bought the Windows 10 for Dummies book and it told me that if I was satisfied with my present Windows (7 Pro) to not bother to update and I think that is just what I will do. Do not want to learn all the new stuff. LOL

I could have been misinformed, but, it's my understanding that once you mover to Windows 10 under the "free" offer, you have 30 days to revert back to the previous version you were using if you don't like it. I'm not sure how involved the reversion is though.

You need to look at help under "Restore". It should guide her through it. Just pick the last restore date prior to the new installation to recover as much as you can. You will lose any data between that date and now.
