Did I call the Pope a retard?  No, I didn't.  Furthermore, the Pope is a public figure and is not a member of this board.  There is quite a difference there.  One I know you are not quite smart enough to grasp.

Did I say you did? No.

And another P/A insult...how typical.

p.s. And you DO know that FWM is a Catholic?

 Try reading up.

And yes, I'm very aware that FWM is a Catholic.  What does that have to do with anything?  People do not have to agree with the Pope just because there are Catholics in the world.  Hell, FWM doesn't have to agree with the Pope.  This Pope is saying things that upset all Christians, many Catholics included.  So stop with the histrionics.

Now, husker, we all know that history was written by fallible men, who misinterpret EVERYTHING.

THAT is the difference.

Why?  Charles Martel defeated a much larger force--maybe more than twice the size of his if some accounts are to be believed.

Only popular approved subjects are agreed to by flan. Her claim of thinking for herself is just a saying. Now I will receive the totally condescending shaking head emoticon. Carry on.

I actually wouldn't have considered mine passive agressive.  I thought it was pretty clear. Perhaps a definition of passive agressive is in order?

An implication is not necessarily an insult. Structure is the key.

Let it go.

So, if I say "I think LL isn't smart enough to be a lawyer", she'll consider it a compliment?

Heck, I don't consider myself smart enough to be a nurse, yet here I am.

Any statement can be ignored.

A MOD shouldn't be calling posters stupid.  Flan got a time-out for calling someone ugly. That wasn't ignored.

Human beings KNOW that God exists. You intuitively know that. We intuitively KNOW that some things are wrong. Why do we know that? Why do human beings seem to have a basic moral understanding? If there is nothing but random nothingness, there is no morality. If you didn't exist and then tomorrow came into existence and suddenly awoke in your bedroom, you would KNOW that the things in your room were not some random chance. You would see a hand made dresser, a door frame, a window. You would know that those things are created and have been created by an Intelligent Designer even if you never knew or saw who made those things. We understand what is designed and orderly.
