You've never had chopped liver from a Jewish deli on a fresh bagel?

Food of the gods.

This is the best thread I've seen in a long time!

I have no idea how this turned into tuna and chopped liver, but keep going folks. :)

Talking about gross foods.........my worst meal I can imagine is an egg salad sandwich on Wonder bread with a side order of peas & a glass of milk. Oh & pudding for dessert.

If you're going to indulge in Jewish chopped liver cooked in schmaltz, have your cardiologist on speed dial.
Damn, is it ever good, though!

Sounds like lunch from a school cafeteria.

Ours always served hot lunches.  I still remember the spaghetti they served with ice cream scoopers.  I liked our lunches except the days they served fish or tacos.  Every other kid in school loved taco day.  I always packed on that day.

Back when I ate meat, I liked my steak "bleu".

Unlike you, I 'm not telling you you're a snob if you don't try it. Or accusing you of not being open-minded.

You eat what you want, and I'll what I want. Tuna casserole aint it.

Organs of excretion. Enough said!

That is a little too undercooked for my taste.  But the vet part cracked me up.

my steak must be medium raw, not bloody or overdone

We picked up our fresh beef at the locker today, so grilling some ribeyes this weekend, and grabbing some fresh corn at the farmers market on the way to the lake.

I am not a fan of liver, but would eat if I needed too, tuna, just as a sandwich. I generally do not care for any casserole.

I love vegetables my fav meal would be a yummy juicy grilled steak and either salad or a plate of fresh or grilled veggies~

So, Gaga - you don't eat foie gras? Most expensive thing on a menu. And highly controversial due to the treatment of the animals.

OMGosh, though, I saw the BEST Ted Talks by chef Dan Barber on Foie Gras. It was fascinating and beautiful and I've watched it 3 times.

No to the tuna casserole, but my mom used to make it when I was a kid and I think I liked it then. I also used to like tuna sandwiches. I don't anymore.

I like egg salad sandwiches though. I don't really like mayo though so I go extra light on that with mustard and a chopped dill pickle on 12 grain bread. Yum.

Baby A loves peas. She's a little weirdo.

Peas should not be in tuna casserole. Peas should only be consumed by themselves, with melted butter.

This was a strange thread. Started out with how to thank someone, then moved on to the pros and cons of pea use, then took a turn into the twilight zone.
