I love cottage cheese with cut in half baby tomatoes, diced cucumbers and finely diced purple onions and salt and pepper, I CAN eat tubs of that
especially if veggies are fresh from a garden

I just made Deviled eggs though. All the talk about them gave me a craving. I can't believe so many people don't like them, they are always the first to go at parties.

Oh no's! Pepper jack cheese is a staple in my pasta salad. That and sharp cheddar. Speaking of jack... I despise Jack Daniels. Awful. Don't shoot me ofour. lol!

Spinach wilted with salted butter and bacon. I swear you will be converted...lol. The other lethal veggies I'd agree with. Although I used to think asparagus was evil until I found out just how good balsamic vinegar and Parmesan could make poisonous into delicious. Yum!!!

We used to do this was lettuce from the garden. It is called "hot lettuce or wilted lettuce". You fry bacon and make a gravy out of bacon grease and you put in a touch of vinegar and salt. You add the lettuce to wilt it. And, then in my part of Dutch PA, you serve this over potatoes. It is soooooo good. Something you only eat once a year, lol.

We do this, too, but I add sesame and chili oils garlic and sesame seeds. And a touch of soy sauce.
