So I bought two of the huge bags of Halloween candy at Sam's two weeks ago. One is a bag of Hershey's brand chocolate bars, the other is the type with Reeses and such. DD tells me kids today prefer nerds, sour patch, and other similar candy. I found that interesting. Who doesn't prefer chocolate?
Thoughts? And what are you giving out?

I say chocolate but my kids like the sours and gummies.

I tried! They got all the chocolate treats; rabbits at Easter, Santa's at Christmas, Valentines and Halloween candies.
I don't know what went wrong.
We are a house divided.

We do go to the church thing they throw. They do a trunk or treat there.
Caitlyn has been buying candy for weeks now.

A poll a couple of years ago put the fruity and sour candy above chocolate. I figure it's because that is pure sugar and chocolate has been found to have some redeeming value.
