 If my family is being threatened you can be really sure that I would not be worrying about what would happen if we had to replace an assassinated President. We survived the death of much better Presidents than him. At that point your opinion has no importance at all.

Our lives and are families are as important as our president if not more important. "We the People" It was funny, hysterically funny. Hillary spoke to a Lion's Club here in NH near me yesterday about gun control, surrounded by her entourage of gun toting FBI peeps. People were rolling their eyes.

Did you happen to notice that Lady Justice used to have a blindfold on? The President is a man. He's not a King. He isn't "more important" than anyone else. He is a man who also happens to be the President.

I'm glad Joe wasn't my Father. He would have done anything to protect me. Of course because Obamas kids won't be affected by gun laws I could really care less whether his family is safe if mine is not.

If he dies, the Speaker of the house takes the position. 

There is a whole, long list of people to take his place.

I could be wrong, but, I believe that in the United States, that the Vice President then becomes president and life goes on. Do you know something we don't?

The president cannot override the Constitution with an executive order. For those of you that want to live in that kind of dictatorship - there are plenty of countries for you to move to.

Buying and owning firearms is going to become harder and harder.

From tighter restrictions to purchase them to harder to find ammo to required storing methods to stiffer punishment for using them by law abiding citizens.

The 2nd ammendment won't be ripped out and tossed all at once.

The Secret Service is for protection. All American citizens have the right to protection as well. We simply have to protect ourselves, while the President has someone to do that for him.

So, IMHO, if he can have protection, then so should I.
