No clue what today will bring. Once of the nearby hospitals has no way to sterilize instruments due to the flooding so I've been volunteered to lead helping them out. No clue how much they are bringing or if their staff is coming to help. Will be interesting for sure. Still sick. Bleh.
Glad to see you SB. Some of us were wondering if you had grown flippers.
Hope you feel better soon.
Soooo..... it is Winchester Wednesday for me. Gosh. It's been a long hellatus.
LL, season 10 is now on Netflix. I haven't watched any yet but according to twitter, Carry On has been cut from epi. 23. Don't know why.
Any way.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

It's going to be such a long day...have to pick up DH from the mechanics, drop him off at work, get myself to work, then outreach, 2 class visits & a committee meeting.
Our house has been up since 5:00. I had to get oldest DGS to school by 6:15 for a class trip. Yay me..
Flan, if you feel like me, you are already exhausted.
SB, good to see you! Sorry you are still ill. Hope you get better soon. I have thought about you often and wondered how you were doing with all the flooding in your area. Glad you are safe!
Good morning Tang, FNW, Trudy and Lily!
FNW, how is your son, with the broken arm, doing?

Have a meeting at 10:00 may skip it. Blah. Not up for Rah! Rah!
I hate meetings.
Tomorrow morning, after I get the grand's off to school, I have to take DD for an IPP meeting at 9. A 30 minute drive, then be back in time to pick up the pre-schooler from school.

I think he will get frustrated by the time this is over. But for now, he's milking it. He always did enjoy being waited on hand/foot.
The more you do, the less he will do.

Right. About the only thing I do is help him wash his good hand and bathe him, dress him, tie his shoes, and clear the table for him. His brother puts his sling on him, makes his bed for him, and carries his backpack on/off the bus so #1 can hold on to the handrail.
I have to go back to work today. I can't keep the anxiety down. I know that it will be okay - only two hours with the bosses and the rest of the time with my amazing clients - I have great relationships with almost all of them. I just so badly don't want to go back. The bosses are bringing me back under such terrible circumstances - they're just waiting for me to quit.
And it's only for one day. I will be taking two weeks of sick time beginning after this shift (shhh.... bosses don't know yet) because we still haven't stabilized my medication but even thinking about going back there has had me crying uncontrollably off and on all morning. And I'm supposed to write up my own disciplinary learning plan. Even though the disciplinary factors on their list are made up and being contested by my union. This is all such a mess.
I hope everyone who is having a bad day that it gets better. And those having good days keep on! I'm too lazy to list everyone!
Just got a call that SS is pretty sick. She doesn't think it's the flu but he's pretty miserable.

I'm on my third day home sick. I can't remember the last time I missed 3 days of work in a row that didn't involve a planned vacation.
Doctor says I have a virus that is causing swelling, including swelling against my inner ear, which is what is causing the vertigo. He gave me medicine for it, but either way - I'm not allowed to drive.

I'm sorry you're not feeling better. Did the doctor say how long this would last?

That sounds horrible. Take advantage of the time alone & snuggle up with a good book.
