Disney has bold plans for the next 4+ years, and the company has now announced every single movie it plans to release through 2020. Hotly anticipated new Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar titles are in the works, and below you’ll find a complete list of Disney projects along with all of their tentative launch dates.

Most projects in the following list have complete titles and opening days, though premiere dates for some of the films haven’t been set and some other info is yet to be determined as well. For example, the eighth Star Wars movie doesn’t have a title yet, and Disney has no less than four “Untitled Disney Fairy Tale” movies slated to be released between December 2017 and the end of 2019.

Here’s the complete list:

  • The Good Dinosaur – November 25th, 2015
  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens – December 18th, 2015
  • The Finest Hours – January 29th, 2016
  • Zootopia – March 4th, 2016
  • Captain America: Civil War – May 6th, 2016
  • Alice Through the Looking Glass – May 27th, 2016
  • Jungle Book – April 15th, 2016
  • Finding Dory – June 17th, 2016
  • The BFG – July 1st, 2016
  • Pete’s Dragon – August 12th, 2016
  • Doctor Strange – October 26th, 2016
  • Moana – November 23rd, 2016
  • Star Wars Rogue One – December 16th, 2016
  • Beauty and the Beast – March 17th, 2017
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – May 5th, 2017
  • Cars 3 – June 2017
  • Star Wars VIII – May 26th, 2017
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales – July 7th, 2017
  • Coco – November 22nd, 2017
  • Untitled Disney Fairy Tale – December 22nd, 2017
  • Toy Story 4 – June 2018
  • Untitled Disney Fairy Tale – November 2nd, 2018
  • Untitled Disney Fairy Tale – March 29, 2019
  • The Incredibles 2 – June 21st, 2019
  • Untitled Disney Fairy Tale – November 8th, 2019

What I want to know is WHY we have to wait until 2019 for The Incredibles 2. I mean, really Disney?

One thing that bothers me, is that there are sooooo many remakes of the same old tired stories. I want new and fresh, not rehasing the same things over and over. I mean how many versions of Alice in Wonderland can a person stomach?

I would bet a couple of those are re-releases.

And there is talk of live action versions of their classics.

And Gaga, just because you've seen a classic movie 100 times, doesn't mean the 6 year old has.

That's fine. Doesn't mean I want to fork over though to go see it even to take my kid. It's kind of like, if the original was great, then it is unlikely they are going to make it better. If the original wasn't good, then why remake the story if the story wasn't that good? Personally, I never liked Alice in Wonderland, even as a kid. And, 101 Dalmations, who can improve on that? I loved that. My kids can watch the original.

I love Alice in Wonderland.

And Through the Looking Glass, the book Alice is derived from, is not the exact same story.

It's a bit more morbid.

Like the Grimm fairy tales.

We tell out kids the watered down versions. The real stories are a lot darker. Scary even.

And why complain about a movie you have no intention of seeing?

That's strange to me.

"I'm not going to see it but here is why you shouldn't like it."

I don't like basketball at all. But I don't tell you why you shouldnt.

You enjoy it. So why ruin the movie excitment for another?

That isn't what I am trying to do. I do like movies. I loved Toy Story and Nemo. I thought those were awesome. And, Disney still makes very good movies that make me excited to see them. So, I am happy to see more of those.

But, you are right Lilly. My apologies if I am raining on your parade. That isn't my intent. And, there really is nothing better than a big old giant bucket of movie theater popcorn!

I agree that there are certain classic movies that should NEVER be re-made.

The popcorn makes a bad movie better!

DD likes to pour on that oil butter! Ugh! I don't want that on my popcorn. I like it just crispy right out of the popper with salt. It doesn't need all that oil on it!

I'm weird, I like remakes. I it's a movie I liked I like seeing how other people put their touches on it. If I didn't like it, then I like seeing if it's improved upon.

I love Jungle Book and Pete's Dragon. I don't think they're very popular with many though. And I love movie popcorn. Yum. I'll take it any way I can.

Many of cartoons are being remade into Disney live action, like Cinderella was. And they did a wonderful job with that. Beauty and the Beast is going to star Emma Watson as Belle - I'm excited about that!

I think one day we will find LL dead of natural causes in her basement surrounded by Disney movies and costumes and knick knacks. Just saying!

Not knick knacks.  Although there are some collectibles down there.  Like Han Solo frozen in carbonite.  And the All Apark.  And Buffy's stake - Spike.

There are a lot of Disney movies, though.  Costumes are not in the basement.

No.  We took them to Frozen on Ice and they were "meh" so we haven't gone again.

 Oh.

Well, not everyone likes all the same things.

On another note.

I remember when we went to Disney, Caitlyn and I did the princess breakfast. Caitlyn was 9 and she was in one of those moods that day.

So we are at our table, waiters are bringing out all the food and princesses are roaming from table to table. Caitlyn has the most sour look on her face.

First one tries to talk to her. Caitlyn blows her off. Second one, same thing.

Before the third one I look her square in the eye and whisper to her to either knock it off and enjoy herself or I was going to become the most over the top princess fan girl anyone has ever seen.

The very next princess was warmly received with smiles and hugs as well as the rest that came by.

I have pictures. It was awesome.

We were at Sam's yesterday and bought Marilyn the cutest little Frozen outfit. She's going to love it. We watch Frozen every day now. I bought her an Anna Barbie and she said now she needs an Elsa Barbie.
