oh, there is most definitely a "want to cry" level, you are not alone at that. My closest moment of the week was on Thursday night at about 9:30pm - I had been at work since 7am. I was working on the big corporate power point presentation. And all of a sudden, my computer decided I no longer had permission to save the file I was working on. An hour of work, in danger of disappearing. I was the only person in the building and I almost started to cry, I didn't know what to do and there was no one there to ask. Somehow, a few brain cells were working and I thought to copy all the slides into a new file, and that one I was allowed to save.

MM - you will make it these next couple of weeks. Make sure to take moments for yourself. Even if its just locking yourself in a bathroom stall and taking a few deep breathes. Oh, and a little advice, potato chips are NOT "dinner", no matter what we tell ourselves.

yeah I have justified sweet potato chips as a healthy dinner in the very near past....

That's the beauty of working in a natural food co-op with a deli -- lots of yummy food. We have a salad bar, soups, and one hot entree each day. In addition, we have lots of goodies in the "grab and go" cooler - yummy sandwiches, salads (egg salad, chicken salad, kale and garbanzo bean salad), and all the yogurt and fresh fruit I could want. We eat for meetings, we eat at lunchtime, we eat when vendors come in and bring samples...we eat all the darn time. I know why everyone bikes to work, they are trying to work off their food addictions.

We have a pumpkin chipotle salsa. It tastes like the Great Pumpkin ate at Chipotle and took a dump in a jar.

I'm trying to figure out if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

 Bad. Very bad.

The previous person in my role ordered all this crap for the fall and it just keeps coming in...and its crap. I don't know how we are going to move it without taking a huge loss. One of the items she ordered was chocolate skull lollipops - and they retail for $5.49. Who the hell is going to buy one of those? It's not an impulse buy at that price. I am so irritated.

Bunny's temp got up to 105 and I was starting to panic. Thankfully, it went back down to 100 after meds and wet washcloths.
I'm going to check him every couple hours all night though. At least he doesn't have school tomorrow.

I would hesitate to buy one of those.  That's a lot of money.  I might if it was Hershey's or a name brand.  But those cheap brands don't do it for me.  I don't like that Palmer's chocolate at all.

Remember, Kid's temps can be really high before it's dangerous.  If it comes down with the cold wash cloths and meds, he is probably ok.  Just let the Doc know and bring him in tomorrow.

And you can alternate fever meds and they will work better.

Ibuprofen and acetaminophen.

Like this

Ibuprofen at 2

Acetaminophen at 4

Ibuprofen at 6

Acetaminophen at 8.

Until you can get it to stay down.

I would panic too.

Caitlyn's got up to 104 once. Freaked me out.

And I had 2 boys, so buying cute girl clothes...I'm in Heaven!

A couple things (sorry if you know this):

Shipping is very slow. There are no returns.

If you buy on Friday, you get free shipping until Sunday at midnight.
