Its actually not a bad fall! Kind of gross and cloudy in the morning, but the afternoons are nice and warm and sunny. Just in time for me to crawl into bed and have a nice nap!

I have learned the art of napping as well! It's so nice! My youngest is 4 1/2 now. That 1/2 makes all of the difference!!! He doesn't get into stuff without asking, he understands danger, he can comprehend rules and best of all he is in a total mama phase now! He doesn't think there is anything I can't do. He follows me around all day telling me he loves me. If I take a nap he goes and builds in his "workshop" in his room or sits and watches cartoons until I get up (I'm a power napper so 1 hr and I'm good!)

He is the best kid ever! I really really love him.

Fall seems to make me tired and I sorta need that nap. Now he is in preschool and I can have 2 1/2 hours if want them! Life is good right now. I have time for the geeks now as well! It's fun to be back!

Thanks for remembering me!

I saw on one of those specialty shows, between the 5PM news and the 6PM news (Inside Edition, maybe?), a segment on what happened and they focused on the possible effect of taking the unregulated "over the counter" versions of "Herbal Viagra". They even included a hidden camera encounter with a pharmacist and they asked his opinion of them. He said he didn't think they were safe.

Apparently he has regained consciousness and is speaking. However, it said he was on dialysis for a period of time. Sounds like he may have really damaged his kidneys going forward.

Here's the problem, when the body is fighting for survival it works like this... You're in a coma, and first it stops sending blood to all the minor areas. Or at least decreases the blood flow. Then in an effort to keep the brain alive, because well the brain is the BRAIN and controls everything, it will start shunting blood to the brain to keep the brain functioning. When that happens things like the kidneys and other vital organs begin shutting down because they don't have enough blood to keep them running. When the person comes out of the coma SOMETIMES they recover. Sometimes they don't. It depends on a lot of factors. I can assure you of this, if he continues the path he is on he will not survive.

Yes, he may really have done some serious kidney damage that may not recover. He may not wind up on life long dialysis but he is certainly putting himself at risk for long term problems down the road. If this isn't his Wake up call, a literal WAKE UP call, then nothing is and he will most certainly die of his disease of addiction.

I know some of you "don't care" about the lives of celebrities. But, they have family and children too. We are all clothed in the same humanity. The problems of the soul plague the richest and poorest. I will say, that we have a serious lack of Gratitude. Gratitude to God for our very lives and all the good things that we have. The lack of gratitude feeds the soul sickness and results in the entitlement mentality and its associated misery.
