I have cuddle naps with my aunties. Often the puppies will join us. It's pack behavior. My mother, however, always refuses. She's not very cuddly.

Well you all know how I feel about this, since I blabbed that we do exactly that already. Lol

I think it's healthy but it isn't something everyone is comfortable with. And I am not forcing anyone to do it!

And...it doesn't come out in casual conversation. I don't think anyone but my parents and my husband even know we do it - and that's because they have all seen it in person!

That's not what is described in the letter.

What is described in the letter is leaning a head on a shoulder and sitting closely together. Or curling up close together on the bed to watch a movie. That's it. Cuddling is not canoodling.
