He'll be exhausted.

It amazes me how many adults can't even use a three hole punch without effing it up!

Someone I work with can never punch the holes right when adding paperwork to a binder. The hole punch is set. Stick the paper in. Use the lever. The holes are so screwed up the papers won't stay in the book. Seriously people!

Today's going well so far. It's been really quiet at work. I went home a little early yesterday, wasn't feeling too great. Temp was normal, but I just felt icky, for lack of a better word. Crawled in bed at 5:00!

Slept until 10, woke up and watched TV for about an hour and went back to bed. Feeling much better today. Yea!

Weather has been pretty good. Sunny and warming up into the low 60's. Gets chilly at night, but not below freezing.

I had a college room mate who couldn't figure out which end of a screwdriver to use.

This person needs a non-judgmental lesson. Keeping the paper in the correct position is just not intuitive for some people.

Or maybe s/he needs to drink less at work.

Yes, somewhere.

Oh Lexxy, my allergies are crazy right now. We have court tomorrow. Plus my son has an appointment with MHMR. I have to be in two places at once. I'm dreading this.

I've had lingering congestion and beginning to believe it might be allergies.

Took #1 to get his hard cast. It glows in the dark. He'll only have to wear it 2 days. And it's waterproof, so he can take a regular shower/bath.

My DS fell off the bed when he was 18 months old. He broke clean through both arms in his arm right below the elbow. They had to put three pins in and cast it. The cast was bigger than him. He could barely walk or sit up straight. It's funny now but wasn't at the time. Fortunately it was the summertime and I was able to let him wear overalls without a shirt.

2 days?  Is there even a point in wearing it?

DD has the stomach flu.

Yesterday after work, I went right to a board meeting and when I got home from that she decided to tell me she had been barfing all day. She didn't tell anyone, still went to practice and weight training, and couldn't understand why she was feeling worse. She is a horrible patient.

I finally got her to stop moving and it hit her like a ton of bricks. She woke up at 3am crying, the dog went nuts, it was chaos. It was like getting a toddler back to sleep.

This morning, it's almost out of her system. She is complaining that I won't let her eat anything but crackers.

Thanks. She is her own worst enemy though. Who has the stomach flu and goes to weight training?!?!

Today we will discuss how she spread her germs to all of her teammates and how that is NOT my idea of team bonding or sisterhood.

You've written on here about how you've gone to work when you were sick. Pretty hypocritical then isn't it?

Things that are often called a "24 hour flu" or "48 hour flu" are usually food poisoning.

Can you figure out what she ate that no one else in the family ate?

When I go to work sick, it's with sinus issues or allergies - neither of which are contagious like the stomach flu. But thanks for jumping to conclusions and being super judgemental!

She ate at the dining hall - along with 500 other people.

For the past week or so, the nurse has been seeing quite a few people with the same thing so the word is "it's going around".

Or maybe the kitchen poisoned everyone for a week?! Either one is possible! Lol
