The grand's are traveling with Mom!

They were so excited to go. Shopping with 5 kids is not my favorite job, but mom handles it just fine. She is an amazing mom. :)

Now, who wants to volunteer to clean my house?  biggrin

Sorry, I'm currently working on not actively murdering someone and bringing my blood pressure down.

LOL, Lexxy. This house is never completely "clean" either. Now if I gave up the boards, it might get cleaned on occasion.

We really need a head banging emoticon. It would give me incentive. . .  maybe.

I try to keep the main living level presentable.  I totally ignore the basement because I never use it except the laundry room.  I get to my bedroom when I get to it.  Except the sheets, I try to keep up with changing them regularly.  And I clean my bathroom regularly.  The hall bath is never used except that is where the kitty box is.  There is a layer of litter dust all over everything in there but I just don't care.  I do the box every Sunday night.  Only one of them uses it so it doesn't get too bad.

Yup, I clean the bathrooms regularly, vacuum weekly and that's about it.

Someone really needs to dust around here.

I'm afraid one of the grand's will write a date in the dust and it will be Easter before I notice.  no

Glad I'm in good company. wink

I svck at dusting.  And please just don't look at my ceiling fans.

LOL about the date in the dust.  I noticed little footy prints in the dust on my dresser a few weeks ago & broke down & dusted.  I figure now I'm good for another few months biggrin

Life is too short to have a spotless house unless of course you can afford a cleaning service.

yawn......what a LONG week and then we are short handed today and our oblivious corp. office pestered the $hit out of us ALL.DAY.LONG!

I told the one lady she was driving us to drink...she laughed and said Well IT is Friday!!, I paused and said not later NOW at work, we are celebrating National Bring your Flask to work day! Cheers!!

they are so fricking tight boobs there she thought I was serious.....

anyway it is almost time for me to head home, leap into comfy clothes and grab my kindle and read on the couch with my puppies til DH gets home from work, which is like 8:20. I am thinking some super nachos for supper they are a breeze to toss together. In fact I need to get all the stuff to make my mom taco salad....slurp!

I love my assistant, she is wonderful. However, I occasionally give her to much credit for knowing what she is doing, and do not watch as closely as I should which leads to mistakes, and that is my fault. Sigh.

Guess what opens here on November 3rd?

Krispy Kreme!

And if you would like, you are welcome to camp out in their parking lot the night before.

They will have games, give aways and entertainment.

AND the first, I think, 25 customers will get free doughnuts for a year!

Do you know how wonderful and yet truly awful this is going to be?

Krispy Kreme bombed in the Boston area.

LL you should tell your ass't that her mistakes are really your fault, that you see how great she is and how her potential is blowing you away that you sometimes forget that she still needs to learn things. You don't want her feeling bad about mistakes if you had her doing things that she is experienced with.

Just got back from shopping with DD. The dog will be a hotdog for Halloween, DD a dead bride. I bought DD new bras (bigger ones than she has now , plus two outfits. My exciting purchase? A new shower curtain liner. Yeah, I'm old.

From the "the things I never thought I would say" file, tonight's gem "please don't lick the sofa, I don't care what animal you are right now."

Best way to get the house cleaned - tell your kids they can have friends over but only if they clean up first. Works every time for me!

DD went to class today but could only get through the warm ups at practice. She was exhausted after that much - SO not like her. Tomorrow is the ACT so she went to be early but woke up to come tell me she needed #2 pencils. I had to run out and buy her some, she only uses mechanical pencils due to an allergy. She is allergic to the shavings believe it or not. Can't even sit by the sharpener.
