Not on the thread that I remember. That was only for me and if you did she certainly didn't listen and neither did I.

 I wear Shalimar. :(

But the question is do you enter it or bath in it?

I ask one question after MONTHS of ignoring and not responding and just sucking up the snark and baiting, but dang me, I'm the problem.

Who is passing out the Kool aid around here?

Certainly not on the birthday thread.

I tried to be patient with your endless threads about THE party. I sympathize when your pain is unusually bad.

It's the lack of compassion for those who are different which I confront.

Saint flan really never does anything wrong. Just ask all her friends who jump in and make excuses or pretend it's only others using insults. I made a resolution and kept it until flan decided every thing I said was about her and a personal insult so now I make sure she's right about that.

There is an older couple at church, friends of mom and dad.

He always smells so good. It's a clean, lemon grass/sage smell.

His wife wears something similar.

I tell them they smell like summer.

My great grandmother wore white shoulders. I'm not familiar with shalimar.

We had one patient who wore the worst perfume I have ever smelled. And a lot of it, too.

I would always get a headache within minutes of her arrival. Once it made me vomit.

im so glad I will never have to smell her again.

So my dog does not like change. My house is in upheaval getting ready for the new flooring and furniture. I just went upstairs to get my vacuum from the spare room, he had peed on the carpet in there. At least that is one of the carpets being torn out, but WTH? I've taken him for two long walks today and then down the street to play with his buddy so it isn't as though his bladder was full.

Ok, will you take Sonny then?  furious

Seriously he drives me crazy sometimes with his rigid routine.  I will have to keep the bedroom doors closed after the flooring goes in and put old towels down in the hallway over the new flooring until he calms down.  He is also a bit mad at me, I refuse to give him any treats right now.  He raided DD's east bag and ate a slim jim cheese stick combo I had put in it so no treats for a few days for him.

Do you not see her quoting me and making snarky comments on just about every thread?

I haven't said anything but this is my vent.

You can't say I haven't been ignoring her.

How long does she get to be snarky to someone before you say something to her?

I'm not trying to fight with you.

I'm just really tired of the unprovoked snark from her.

My "knock it off" was not an invitation for argument.

And no, you don't ignore her.  You say you ignore her while you constantly comment on her commenting.  And you blow things out of proportion.  And it's FLAN.  All she does is snark to half the board.  You are not special.

Last week.  We've only just recently had this "I'm ignoring her, she won't leave me alone"  when you are not.  If you actually WERE ignoring her, you'd ignore all the comments, even the baiting ones.  Because just because you want to ignore her does not mean she will or has to ignore you.  Perhaps you need the definition of "ignore".

To the original question about perfume. Some people are thoughtless and insensitive so they don't care who their perfume bothers. Others really enjoy the smell and are clueless to the fact that it bothers others. And sometimes people wear the same smell so long for so often they become almost immune to them. They have no idea how much they are really applying.

It irks me all the talk about NCAA athletes not getting paid. The part that they always leave out is that these athletes ARE getting paid with a free education. Let's take for example, the basketball players at Notre Dame. Tuition, fees, room, and board at Notre Dame is over $60,000/year. That's nothing to sneeze at.

There was no calling flan out on that thread. You may have been doing it by PM but not on the thread. Of course they'll back you up because that's what you'd all like to think happened. By the way I don't care if you don't like me arguing with flan. I will say something every time she insults someone while pretending she does nothing wrong.  It is ridiculous.  Plus if paid, they would no longer be able to play for the NCAA since you can't be a professional player on the NCAA.

Why do contractors always feel the need to want you to look at the leftovers of mice? They had to do some rebuilding of the top of the stairs/landing and he pulled up the sub floor and saw an old nest and "such", wanted me look. Umm no thanks, just get rid of it!
