 You can't convict someone because of popular opinion or because you think he did it. Unless they find proof which they obviously haven't then there's really not much point in taking back to court.

Convict?  LOL! He was never going to be "convicted".  He was never charged with a crime.  But his CONTRACT says that he must use an arbitrator and he went to court, which is a violation of his contract.  It's still being looked into, and most analysts and lawyers agree that this is not the end of it. Pete Rose didn't break any laws either, but he's still banned from baseball.  He broke his contract.  This is nothing but contract law.

 No.  At this point, the only serious competition he has for the title of best ever is joe Montana.  Maybe Johnny Unitas for old school fans.

 

Of of the current players, only Aaron Rodgers is really in the conversation.

The fact that the NFL suspended him (he's their cash cow) speaks volumes. His own team didn't even come to his defense. He cried and whined (as he does) and got his way. For now. It's not over. The NFL will have the final say...

 LOL, Goodell took a bogus stand and forced into the courts so when he was overruled he can just say "can't argue with the justice system".  He never has to admit he was pandering to the other team owners and doesn't have to reverse his own decision, the courts did that, as he knew they would from the get go.
