Good morning!

Looks like the bug is hitting more geeks!

Not sure if I feel better or not. Blowing green stuff, but I can breathe.

The grand's had a great Halloween. The trunk or treat was a hit for them. We had beautiful weather.

Today is beautiful as well. Love these warm fall days and cool evenings. We did have a light shower go thru last night. The air smelled so good this morning!

We have a new kitty! His name is Silver. The grand's are in love. :)

There was an earthquake near Black Canyon City (about 50 miles north of Phoenix) last night. Some people in the Valley felt it. I'm having fun poking at all the freaking out. Earthquake was 3.2 and aftershocks were 4.1 and 4.0. People are freaking out. I felt nothing.

Arizonans freak out over the littlest things. A little bit of rain falls and people act like it's the apocalypse. If an earthquake ever hit while it was raining, there'd be mass hysteria.

I had to go get a sick kiddo from school already. I had hoped she would be better after taking her medicine this morning... I was wrong.

Morning everyone. Congrats on the new kitty Czech.

The weather was lovely for trick or treating. I had hundreds of kids but it was all over by 8:30. They came in groups. One group was so big I had to tell some to back off the porch onto the stairs so I could get the door open. Funny thing, I told everyone to pick 2 candies. I had about half a dozen or so say no thanks I'll just take one. One young lady said there were still more trick or treaters to come so she would leave enough for everyone. I was very pleasantly surprised by my neighbor children.

I get to go see a GI doctor today. I hope he can provide some answers, I am doing better each day but still have issues flare up.

She's had stomach problems most of her life. I think some days she is worn down by the struggle.

She did make it thru a test before they called me to come and get her. She's down on the couch for the day. She is a bit warm too.

I left an open bowl on the front step and refilled it three times. The kids were awesome about not taking all the candy here too. smile

Harveys and Winn-Dixie Recall Various Bakery Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Products

Southeastern Grocers today announced an immediate recall of 12-count, 18-count, and 20-count Bakery Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and Bakery Variety Pack Cookies, along with 36-count and 48-count Bakery Cookie Platters in all Harveys and select Winn-Dixie stores in Florida and Georgia. According to the supplier of the oatmeal raisin cookie dough, the reason for the recall is that the product is mislabeled.

Last night we took SS home and we were shooting the breeze with his mom. She told us her mom threw a huge fit about Halloween and when she told her SS was going to our house she called her over and over and over again and left nasty voice mails and texts. She told us her mother claimed Halloween was HER holiday and she wanted it back. SS's mom told her Halloween wasn't even a holiday so get over it. Apparently there was no birthday ever planned and this was ALL about grandma and nothing about mom.

Fortunately mom is sane. DH and his ex get along for the most part. We disagree in parenting styles but for the most part we get along. We can all be civil and have conversations. I mean, we don't hang out socially but yeah, we don't fight tooth and nail.

Strangest thing.

I was in the shower a bit ago and could have sworn I heard Caitlyn come in and say she was home.

But when I got out, she wasn't there.

Just got back from the Dr. He believes it is Gastritis and I'm going to have a scope done next week. I looked it up and it sounds right but he wants to make sure there is nothing else going on. I'm pretty relieved.

I had a scope about three years ago. Get a bunch of cold things to drink/eat. DN brought me a sno cone after I had mine. It was heavenly. Popsicles are good.
