I had a scope about three years ago.  Get a bunch of cold things to drink/eat.  DN brought me a sno cone after I had mine.  It was heavenly.  Popsicles are good.

Thanks for the heads up.  I sure will.  There is a custard stand nearby I may get dh to get me one.

It really wasn't bad. I think the whole thing took like five minutes. Or at least that's what DH said. They do knock you out though to stick the tube down. So your throat is sore from the tube. I had one to rule out that bacteria that lives in your stomach.

This IS good news! Now, he can make a plan for you. smile

Yes it is good to know there is a name and a plan.   Also I'm happy with both my regular dr. and this dr. for be pro-active.  I see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I had a colonoscopy last year so I think I would rather have a sore throat then do that again. Yuck.   Thank you  for the heads up about the sore throat.

We received an invitation to a birthday party this coming weekend.

It's from our soon to be, one year old grandson!

So cute!

I remember the evening of the day I had it done I could barely talk and my throat was so horrendously sore.  That night I just drank things.  The next day though the pain had gone away!

I use to hear my dad calling me.

Usually in the middle of the night.

He'd be sound asleep.

But I'd hear him saying my name, like he does when he wants my attention, but it would be coming from my doorway.

And usually something significant would happen within a day or two.

It hasn't happened in a long time though.

Oh, wow! Only 4 years? I don't blame you for being bummed.

But, you are still gorgeous, with or without glasses. smile

Wow, sounds like a lot of good, cute news today.

As I drove to work this morning, I felt a sense of relief. I resigned myself to the fact that I cannot keep up with my workload. It;s worse than insane and just stupid. Yesterday I told you all I was in a funk. I came to the conclusion I just cannot do this, not the job, the workload and no way in heck am I working every w/e. Well I get to work and guess what, another person who has my same position said everything I was thinking. And you know what? The world didn't end. I think I am be to hard on myself. Much happier now.

Hope they find a solution for both of you. It is not fun being constantly overworked.

Glad you feel better at least. smile

You really shouldn't have to work 7 days a week. Sounds like they need a little more help. Don't be hard on yourself. You need time to have a life.

I would call them. Some places do adjustments for free or discounted.

Call the lasik peeps, they should do a touch up at no charge.

Thanks for the kind words to you and everyone. Some people don't mind the workload.  Usually the younger broke ones.  Even though we are salary, we get OT after a certain point.  The money is good, but not at the expenses of my mental health or family life.

I know how you both feel. A normal week for me is around 50 hours. Lately, they've been more like 60 hours. But, I am single, no kids, and live 10 minutes from the plant. I'm still making a name for myself with my company, so I put in the time. It would be a whole other story if I had a family to consider.

I am doing about 50 hours a week right now too. I am afraid that when DD goes off to college it will only get worse as I will be bored stupid and DH travels so much for work.

I do feel like I am making a difference though. If I was stamping widgets I would feel much differently. But a good day for me means a local farmer gets his/her product on our shelves at a price the community will be happy about paying. Today we put a new local egg out on the shelves and the response was tremendous! Made all the hassle worthwhile.
