Been such a crappy week. Lot's of stuff going down. My coworker of over 16 years was fired yesterday. Now today still lots of stuff going down and everyone but myself and the night girl are working.  This means I get to work with my manager and department director. Yay me.

SB, what happened that she got fired? Yes, you are having a bad week. :(

It is cold here today! Brrr, enough about that.

The virus has hit my muscles and has forced me to take anti-spasm meds. The med knocks me out. I'm tired of being sick.

Hope I'm well enough to make the trip tomorrow for DGS's birthday weekend. I'm taking today OFF! I need to rest as much as possible today so I can travel tomorrow.

I'm usually off today but my employee needed the day off so I'm in working for her.

We've had unseasonably warm weather here too, upper 50s and 60s anyway, cooling off now for the next several days.

Sorry you're having a rough day at work, SB. Hope thinks settle down for you.

I have to do laundry tonight or tomorrow. Ack.

I think I have to call and yell at Pottery Barn Kids today. I don't want to do it, but they have owed me a credit for over a month, and I have made 6 polite phone calls and was told every time that it would be applied within a few days, and still nothing. What do I have to do to get them to give me my money back?!

 Was it on a credit card?  Dispute the charge if it was.

It's been warm here too.

Staying around 60 and 70.

But it's supposed to get into the 40s Monday.

The rowing regatta is this weekend. Might go watch that. Pack a picnic, enjoy the warm while we can.

As many times as I visited family in Texas I never got to go to Whataburger.  Is it good? 

 Usually yes.  They have delicious milkshakes and out of this world onion rings.  They have some super good sandwiches too.  I don't like jalapeno's but they have them too.  Last time we went they were short handed.  We went inside because we had a special request and wanted to make sure we were understood.  We asked them to put DS's burger between two pieces of lettuce instead of a bun.  They looked at us like we were crazy and said they only had shredded lettuce.  I asked them if they had a box or something they could put his sandwich in with all the trimmings.  She said yes.  I told her that would be fine.  Then I stood and watched as a worker pulled whole heads of lettuce out of a box.  I ordered a patty melt and onion rings and they put jalapeno's on my patty melt.  Um, those don't belong on a patty melt.  And my onion rings were burnt so badly they were black.  I called the general manager and he apologized and told me they did indeed have whole lettuce and that this particular store has had a lot of complaints and he was newly hired to clean it up.  He promised to send me a bunch of coupons.  Over a month later and we still haven't gotten them!  LOL DH called last night...

  Sounds like the manager may be in over his head.  I do hope it gets better and you all get your coupons soon.  Burnt onion rings are gross and jalapenos on a patty melt????  They won't be there long if they keep that up.
