Well, that was a nice surprise! A lady from Church dropped by with dinner for DH and I - roasted chicken, a baguette, and an apple pecan arugula salad with citrus dressing. Schmancy!
I'm letting dinner settle then will go back to work on the pierogies I'm making. I had some potatoes to use up and figured pierogies would be good since they freeze easily enough.
Someone come make me dinner! So, I ordered this blanket from a company and I don't know what happened but apparently their machine burped and they sent me three. And yes, I paid for three. I called them and they said I could send them back and blah blah blah and I can get my credit back and blah blah blah. I left them in the packages and put them up on FB site in my area. I paid 14.95 + tax. Put them up for sale for $20. Within five minutes both were sold. Go me.

Always nice when those FB sites work. I have some stuff I need to post but haven't got around to it yet.
I'm trying real hard not to overdo it today. I feel a lot better than I did yesterday and the stiffness is almost gone but the angio site area lets me know if I've moved too much. There's so much I want to do but I know better. I did get the shelves in the fridge re-lined and sternly reminded DH that he is to replace the liner if he notices a spill on it. It's not that hard to replace the liner and I shouldn't have to be the one doing the icky work all the time.

Fridge, freezer, and pantry here. When I was single, they stayed organized. With DH? Pffft! He's doing real good lately at keeping them organized though. Now to get him to take a minute and replace the liner when he notices that the current one is dirty.
I get so tired of him sticking his head in the pantry and saying there's nothing in there. Sure there isn't. Maybe if you'd stop cramming everything onto the two shelves at eye level, you might actually find something
LOL I can relate. So relate. I think of Riding every day when I make the bed. We talked about our expectations. When I make the bed I pull back the quilt and pull up the sheets all nicely and MAKE it. I fluff the pillows and set them back where they go. When DH makes the bed he takes the quilt and pulls it up over the tangled sheet and tossed around pillows. We just have such different expectations of what MADE is.

This is me and DH. I mean, I appreciate when he makes the bed, but it also annoys me.

He always comes to me so proudly with a smile on his face and tells me he made the bed. The next thing he says is "Your OCDness is making you cringe."

DH and I are not bed makers. I tried to be for the longest time but it never became a habit. DH doesn't give a rip what the bed looks like as long as his blanket isn't touching the floor.
We're identical on a lot of quirks though. Tags on the pillows must be inside the pillowcase. Sandwiches get cut diagonally. Stuff like that. We also have the same preferences on a lot of foods. We both like thick mashed potatoes, for example.
Then there's stuff like the toothpaste tube. I want to bop him every time he squeezes it in the middle of the tube. Wiping up spills is another one. I wipe up spills when they're fresh and easy to wipe up. DH likes to wait until the spill dries then whines about having to scrub it. Well, if you'd wipe it up when it's still fresh ...

This is the first time I made them. I did a sour cream dough (sour cream and flour) with just enough whole milk to make it doughy. Rolled it out and cut it into squares. I didn't feel like putting the forth the effort in making circles. Filling is mashed red potatoes, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, chives, a little butter, and the end of a cream cheese block that I wanted to get out of the fridge.
I haven't assembled them yet but the dough squares and the filling are in the fridge. I'll assemble them tomorrow then boil them and brown them in a little garlic butter. Thinking about getting a rotisserie chicken from Costco to go with them.
The filling is delish. There will probably be filling left over. I've never made a sour cream dough so I'm interested to see how it turns out. I will probably have to roll each square a little thinner in the morning but will see what they look like after sitting overnight. And by roll, I mean pat down with my hand because it's easier.

I almost never make my bed. I also don't use a top sheet. Too inconvenient when crawling back in for a nap.
Same here on both counts! I never make my bed - unless company is coming. I don't see the point. And I hate the top sheet. All it does is get tangled up in the middle of the night. I skip it and use it on top of the comforter to keep the dog hair off of it.
