Helping my mom take her dog to the vet. Which means I just get to carry the dog around. He's 14 and can't get in and out of the car and my mom can't lift him. He used to hate it when I would pick him up, now he stands by the car and looks at me with a look that clearly says "oh squire, I require a boost"

Then I'm going into work for a couple hours to do some cleaning and organizing I can never get done when eveyone else is there to bother me.

THEN, doing a pub crawl with some friends tonight. We are so excited!

I crashed after getting home from internship yesterday.

Catching up on schoolwork, as usual. Going to try to hit the local craft fair for SS Shopping. Then it will be more housework and cooking.

All the boys were up at 6:30 this morning. Got up cooked two huge packages of bacon they consumed it like locust. One kids parents brought donuts so that helped big time.

They were good. They even helped clean up.

DH stayed up till five am so he's out for the count. DN just called and wants me to go with her to the mall. She has about thirty coupons for Bath and Body. I am going to get some stuff for the care package. We're going to take the boys. I hate the mall with a passion but we'll see how this goes.

I have bought so much SS stuff. I need a few more things but I'm seriously almost done.

The guys went on without me and I have crawled back into bed with tea and a book.

Mom is slowly improving, I did have to give her another pain shot though. The kids do not want to go home!

The little's seem to think they can permanently camp at grandma's.

Kick ball, Frisbee, and bike riding have worn them out for a little bit. Unfortunately, a nap will recharge all of them..

Deer season opened today. Pictures all over facebook.

I asked a neighbor lady if her DH was out deer hunting today. She said "of course not, deer are our biggest money makers, he's not going to go out and kill one.". I gave her an odd look. She said, "Well, DH is an auto repair guy and deer make us the most money." Took me a moment to realize that yeah, when you hit a deer with your car, he gets to fix your car. We both busted out laughing.

Yeah, I've paid him for my deer hits, twice.

Perspective is everything. :)

If anything smaller then a semi hit it, someone will be making money on a repair job next week.

Every time I see a "road kill dear", I will think of my neighbor making money. I never thought I would find that humorous, until this morning.

I don't think DH has hit a deer, but I have...middle of the night, southern Ohio. I was driving our van & hit it with the passenger side of the hood.

I just had an Amy's frozen vegetarian & gluten free lasagna for dinner. I wanted a hot dinner and knew I was too tired to cook. It wasn't terrible. I would buy it again.

He knows you love him enough to follow through and he loves you for it.

I am fortunate. DH always backs me up. Even if he disagrees (which is rare) he always supports me in front of him. DN was here too. She said I was fair. After he served his punishment she took him to the store to get some Sprite for her reflux. She said he seemed fine.

Lol. It's was their fancy name for the bar crawl. 5 different places downtown, you got a specialty drink and apps at each place. Had some food drinks and some good food. And some really good laughs

they were mostly pretty good. First place had a choice of bottled beers or hot apple cider with carmel vodka. I had the cider and it was really good. Second place had what they called a Georgia Peach. Not sure what all was in it, but it was really good. Third place had a few draft beers (including a seasonal one) and some local wines - I had a glass of wine. Forth place had draft beers or a punch - I had the punch, it tasted just like fruit punch, I enjoyed it. Last place had bottled beers or a Candy Cane drink. I don't drink beer and I'm allergic to peppermint, so I got a beer and gave it to one of my friends. All of them had good food too. They should totally do these things more often :)

What a weekend! I'm so tired, I'm confuzzled.

DD is slowly improving, but I will have to take her to the doctor tomorrow IF I can get her in the van.

The grand's STILL love me!! And I have turned into my old mean mom mode. They had to pick up the living room today before they could get another toy or puzzle out. You would have thought I had grown horns or something. Youngest DGD crawled up on my lap and said I was the sweetest grandma ever. And that was after the kerfluffle.

The two oldest may be joining us after they get back.

Took me over an hour to get back to typing this up..

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and enjoyed a great weekend.
