41 currently. Upper 50's later I believe. It was beautiful out yesterday, but breezy which made for a nice chill in the air.

Good Sunny Morning! Currently 48 going up to 57 today. THe winds have died down.

It is sleep in late day. I stayed in until 9:30. DH will probably be there until close to noon.

I need to cook the three remaining butternut squash that I have. Two will be pureed and frozen plain to add to various recipes. The last, I am not sure how I want to cook it. May have it "mashed" with dinner tonight which is chili.

Also have the normal schoolwork and household chore to work on today. It feels like it never ends.

Afternoon.

It did get cold last night. But stayed around 35.

It's 45 now but the sun is shining.

I have a friend who moved from here to Florida. He is posting pictures of him self in flip flops at the beach.

He is so gonna get it when he comes home to visit.

I am loving this cold front. It finally feels like fall. Fingers crossed that that it holds through Thanksgiving.
I don't like it when it's 80 on Thanksgiving day.

I bought a couple Groupons today. One for Hello Fresh and the other for Graze. Hello Fresh sends you all the ingredients and instructions to make healthy meals. Graze sends you healthy snacks. They were both like half priced, so thought I'd give them a try. I'll have to see if the Hello Fresh actually comes without having to call them. Since its a subscription, I had to put in my credit card info. It asked for the billing address, which is a post office box, but the site wouldn't accept the PO box address. I get that they won't deliver my food to the post office, but that really is the address the credit card people use. so annoying.

I want to hear your feedback on Hello Fresh. They got really bad reviews. Not in the food sense but that people had a lot of problems with billing issues. I've heard that when you want to unsubscribe it's next to impossible.

I belong to Graze. What did you get? A little snack box or the bags? I love Graze and have never had an issue with it. Once my family found out that the "healthy" food actually tasted good they started stealing my snacks.

I'm getting a weekly 4 snack box. I'm exploring it more now. But it was so cheap, I thought it sounded like something to try. The Hello Fresh is $69/wk for 3 meals to serve 2 people per week. For just me, it seems pricey. But I got 2 weeks for the price of one. I guess the good thing is right now my payment section is empty since they didn't like my billing address. I started to email them, but then figured I'd wait until I decide to keep it - or if they won't deliver my trial ones without it.

I'll keep you updated. My first delivery is supposed to be a week from Tuesday.

I get an every other week four snack box. Then I also get an every other week box with the bigger bags. It took awhile to get my snacks picked out. They used to have these carrot orange fruit chews that were SOOOO good. But they don't have those anymore. I like a lot of the cracker ones with nuts mixed in. DH likes the cashews and pistachios.

I don't think I've ever had anything BAD. The dried pears weren't my cup of tea but they weren't bad. They sent me granola and it was really good but I didn't eat a lot of it. I really like their stuff.

my problem is not eating too much, its eating the wrong things. And I just don't have the time or energy to do a lot of prep work, so I go for something quick and easy. Well, quick and easy is usually not the best choice nutrition wise.

sometimes I fantasize about what my life would be like without IH. I would be cooking yummy dinners and running marathons.
