I went back to bed for a couple of hours. I just woke up and couldn't get back to sleep, so I came and surfed the internet until my eyes started drooping again.

I don't have to work today! I've got a massage scheduled this morning. Then lunch with a friend. And tonight is a charity auction. It felt so good to sleep in a bit. And knowing I have the whole day ahead of me with zero responsibility

Beautiful day here! Today is my birthday. I'm going to get my hair done and grocery shop for T-day. Tonight we'll all go out to dinner. Tomorrow DH is taking me out to a romantic French restaurant.

Gotta admit I'm not having fun yet.

I was at the grocery & had a bottle of nail polish in the small tray in the front of the cart. It fell out once, I picked it up. Then it fell out again, but this time it cracked. Luckily there was an employee nearby with a roll of paper towels. Both of my hands are now a sparkly green & I have 2 small cuts on my fingers...

LOL I went to the grocery store yesterday to get some last minute things and all that was in there was pretty much men and men with kids. They were not happy and many were on the phone with their wives! I did meet one nice lady. She had two things so I let her cut in front of me. She was thrilled. I let her use my points card to get money off and I scored the extra points. I even went to Starbucks which was EMPTY. I mean nothing. I was so ready to pay for someone's coffee and do a good deed but there was no one there!

Thanks. thats what people at work said too. After getting past the shock I was taking a day off Lol.

massage was wonderful. My lunch date cancelled on me, so I've got my book at the Chinese buffet :)

It did drop down to 69 here the other day. DH and I were out running errands. People were wearing parkas. I felt out of place in my shorts.

I dug my parka out last night. It was 23 degrees. I wore a sweater yesterday afternoon. Dang I hate the cold.

It's snowing here too. The wet stuff. Yuck. BUt I suppose I can't complain, we are lucky it waited this long to come.

I bought an electric snow shovel today. It will be kept on the deck all winter. The deck is HUGE and shoveling it is just too much work. The electric one will take some time to clear the snow but it beats shoveling.
