 ALL OF THE TIME!  He tells me when he is hungry, when he doesn't like that particular can of wet food that particular day (good help you if you feed hi the same flavor two meals in a row), when his special waterbowl (the one that holds less than a cup of water) is half way empty, when he wants to go out on the screened porch to catch the stupid gecko or lizard that stupidly snuck in, when the dogs are ready to come in, when he wants to be held on my shoulder, when he wants to attack my husband...

and each one has a different mew.

Mine has a different scream for all his complaints. He sounds like a baby being beaten to death with a set of bagpipes.

Last year, my neighbours reported me to the SPCA for animal abuse.

"We hear your cat screaming.  It's clear that you are torturing him."

The director of the animal abuse hotline thought it was funny. He has two cats. Guess what kind!?
