My kids got me into it, flan.

Just like my 92 year old Mom, got me into Castle.smile ( Back when she was 86, or so.)biggrin

It's all about being interested in the story.

I don't like gore. I don't watch the scary parts.

But, the story is good.

I care about the characters, and I root for them to go on. 

That's why I like it.

That's why I like Castle.

I like the characters.

I want to see, what happens next.

Know what I mean?

Yep. You get invested in the characters. The good and bad. You want things to work out or people to be happy or have to suffer punishment for bringing evil onto the group. You just want to see what happens in their lives.
