I love the classics. I count "The Poseidon Adventure" among them. Also: "Earthquake", the "Airport" movies about different airplane disasters, the original "King Kong", etc.
What I hate are the "improved" remakes. My question to the new writers, directors, and producers: If the original was so awesome, why are you screwing with it? Why not re-make something that was a complete flop the first time and fix what was wrong with it, instead?
