I have started on my holiday cards to friends.  I am also participating in a card exchange on another board, so I got those out of the way.   I did some shopping for two friends.  I have ordered chocolates for my orthopedic surgeon who comped my entire PT treatment, and for the physical therapists and sports fitness trainers who did a wonderful job with my rehab.  The rest of my friends will be getting gift cards, which I will pick up soon.   All of my gifts except two will have to be mailed.

Other than giving cards and gifts, I don't really prepare for the holidays and treat the holidays like regular days.  For the most part, they are spent alone and are like every other day.  I am not travelling for the holidays this year.  I did take some time off for work at the holidays but will be staying at home.  I have no other plans besides waiting on January to come along.  smile

Your tree is so shiny and pretty, riding. I love it.
I got most of our Christmas stuff up. The new cat really likes playing with ornaments, but so far hasn't climbed the tree at all.

This is our Blue Spruce tree outside our house today.

Glad we got the lights on it yesterday.

Yeah, we got a little snow.

But, it sure looks like Christmas out there. :)

My tree was up and decorated the day after Thanksgiving.. but now all the ornaments from the bottom two feet have been moved to the top. DD1 thought the tree was a really fun place that new toys were stored.

It did. I was getting stabbed so the beer made it better. No tree this year. Went with my Crate & Barrel wires trees. It is a forest of Crate trees!

I just took a screen shot, rotated it and cropped it and saved it.

I've learned to crop all my pictures now. Even if I don't actually make it smaller.

Czech I agree that would make a lovely Christmas card!

NJN love the tire tree my DS who is a diesel tech would LOVE that kind.

Weltz, thanks Sara is our baby (well youngest) she is 8 months old and loves clothes if you van imagine, our three Chihuahuas wear clothes well two do, the other is a hot blooded gal and will wear them, but not always happily

Sara loves hers she has a Santa sweater now and her reversible coat

Our other dogs all have leather dresses and coats and doggles and she has doggles but needs to get her leathers on, but I want to be certain she is fully grown first.

Let me tell you the hit they make at Sturgis, everyone wants pictures of them heard they made it into Easy Rider magazine once LOL

G did surprise me with a Bryant Denny stadium ornament yesterday though. He was hoping to get me into the spirit. It worked a little bit...:)

 Thanks.  We don't have ours up yet but part of that is coordinating schedules.  If we left any of the kids out they would be hurt beyond belief.  We don't have SS this weekend as he is going to some dinosaur fair.  So we have to find a time that we have him and DN.  Then the tree will go up.  And it involves moving tons of stuff.

 Thanks!  It's bigger than we've ever had.  I hope we're not overwhelmed.  We gave our old tree away to someone.  The lights started acting up but the tree was perfectly good.  We asked DN if she wanted it but she wouldn't take it.  She doesn't do used stuff.  rolls eyes  We're having this argument now.  She bought a new tree too.
