You know, there was a time when just about every American household had a gun or two or three. Crime rates were REALLY low then. Of course, the country still had a moral compass back then, too. So, the guns were not the problem, and they still are not. The problem is raising a society of thugs and criminals, refusing to properly treat mental illness, refusing to be a strong nation that will stand up to terrorists rather than cowtow to the world, and refusing to admit that the breakdown and decline of two parent homes with a commitment to family are the real problems.
