I do not have any favorite Xmas movies because I have not watched them except a small glimpse when channel surfing or in a station commercial while watching other shows. I am a rare movie watcher and since I was not "raised" or "grew up" here, I did not have the Xmas experiences that many others did with family and the holidays. I do not watch any kind of Xmas shows on the telly either. I am just not into any of it. My life experiences may differ from others, but Xmas and most movies do not appeal to me. No flames, please. This time of year is difficult enough, thanks.

No flames RTL. Unless you are into a topic, why would you be interested in the movies. Although some are really entertaining, regardless of the Christmas theme.

if you haven't seen it, " joyeux noel " is a small, intimate, brilliant french film--based on actual events and set at christmas on the western front in WWI--there are several scenes that are achingly poignant and beautiful--the meaning of christmas ( and for many of the characters, what is to be their last christmas ) is portrayed tenderly and reverently against the backdrop of the war to end all wars

It's pretty great. Vince Vaughn, Cathy Bates, Kevin Spacey.

Ok. French Kiss. Not really a Christmas movie but it was the movie DH and I watched on Christmas Eve when we first met. Such a quirky little movie but for some reason I have to watch it every season since. To me it will always be my favorite Christmas movie just because.
